    Slotted/drilled myth?

Seeing that my suspension is modded to fight brake dive I don't feel so bad about your statement! :D

    Slotted/drilled myth?

Couldn't have good brakes that work so well that you wouldn't have to lock up the tires? Then the tires wouldn't too much make a difference in braking. With my rear disc & 73mm front set up I can brake hard and not lock up at all. And it brakes alot better than when I had the stock brakes...

    Twin turbos under the car?

Incon Systems had a kit that allowed you to keep the headers headed in the stock position and the turbos sat right after them. I caused for you to 'notch the frame' as the put it but it was a very clean looking install. They're out of business now and I can't find the pic anymore.

Baer looks nice but for that money I'll do something that would actually make a difference.

Will I beat these rice burnner

If you had to pick one then get the gear. Performance wise you'll be happier. If you want the sound and the head turning attention than you go the other route.

    Slotted/drilled myth?

I was thinking about doing the slotted and drilled rotor look front and back. I did a search but didn't really turn up anything. I was told a number of things. -do it just for looks because performance is no different -they crack easy and don't last at all -they will help keep braking...

5 lug Guru's, anyones brake pedal feel soft after swap?

I had Matt do it for me but it can be done yourself. If you don't have a welder any shop can quickly weld the two peices together without any problems.

5 lug Guru's, anyones brake pedal feel soft after swap?

You have to do the adjustments to the brake handles for it to work right. There is another thread I think you started that has a link that shows you how to do it. Real easy to do.

5 lug Guru's, anyones brake pedal feel soft after swap?

Correct. The cobra calipers I have you just need to adjust the parking brake that one good time and everything should be cool.

5 lug Guru's, anyones brake pedal feel soft after swap?

I have disc in the back. I adjusted the parking brake with the new center cable used for the rear disc conversion. From what I understand is that the rear calipers didn't have enough tension from the parking brake to start grabing. Plus the parking wasn't holding the car. When I adjusted the...

5 lug Guru's, anyones brake pedal feel soft after swap?

I had slack in the pedal and when I adjusted the parking brake tighter the slack went away. Go figure.

Strut Tower Brace vs Breather Valve

I didn't remove the neck. I stuffed a clean towel down in there and used the pipe cutter. You should get much shavings from the cutter. My car wouldn't idle right when I connected the hose (from the neck) to the intake, only with it off. So I plugged the hole and use the breather.

Strut Tower Brace vs Breather Valve

I had the same problem. I took a pipe cutter and cut the filler neck a few inches. I then went to autozone and got the 'push in' breather that has the rubber gormet instead of the screw in one. Never had a problem with it.

    Sorry guys..

I ordered a bolt kit from summitracing.com. I told them what car and rims I had and they gave me the info. They are cone seat lug nuts with 1/2" x 20 thread pattern. Does that sound about right? The part number is MCG-84530. The new ones look a little smaller in lenght compared to my stock...
