between 2002 and today Ford's Mustang has had 100% of the Pony car market all to itself .... and 100% of any car market is better than 99%, 98%, 97% or less.
Quite simply, having a new Camaro in the showroom down the street dilutes the Mustang's market share. And obviously I'm against...
Once again you've exaggerated my position by confusing the ultimate death of General Motors and Chrysler (which btw, I am totally ambivalent about)
and my fervent wish for the early death of the Comrade Car.
While I may desire the end of GM on a gut level, its doubtful that something that...
that's debatable but its completely ancillary to my statement that THE CAMARO's death (aka, the Comrade's Car) is advantageous to Ford generally and the Mustang specifically ... :flag:
here's to a short and troubled life for the people's car!
Best time of year to get a car is the week after Xmas.
go in with your financing in place and ask to look at the remaining `08's
and I bet you'll come out with a steal! :flag:
Get the car towed and have the clutch replaced at a transmission house, then submit the claim as an emergency warranty repair.

No, I'm a FORD enthusiast ....... and fwiw, I was only half kidding!
GM is coughing blood. It deserves no consideration as a viable domestic car maker.
So dont be surprised if their lil' commie car has a very short life span.
and the sooner its dead and buried the better for Ford and...
Camaro gets new name
In response to the pending Congressional Bailout plan, GM has announced that the Camaro will be renamed the Chevrolet Comrade!
Comrade Che' would be proud . . .
I was able to get these overlays for my V6 deluxe a lot cheaper than $189.99 !
check it out >>> http://forums.stangnet.com/711695-need-pull-instrument-cluster.html
Its meant to give some stiffness to the bottom edge on the ft bumper cover and to direct the air flow under the car ..... to whatever degree possible.
btw, CDC makes one for the V6 that you can find for about $200 - that has a bit more style ,,,,
... with any luck at all, the Camaro will be a casualty of the new GM Bailout Plan ...
Congress wants some concesssion to higher CAFE standards ... and what better symbol of GM corporate cooperation than throwing the Camaro over board?
