OH boy...love these threads...
I would use the 75mm tb but I don't really know what the he!! I'm talking about. You need to ask someone who has made good power and proven it to know for sure.
If he knows how to use the tools properly than that is the better option. If he doesn't than you would be OK to plastiguage them assuming you're not doing anything too radical with the motor.
I have not pulled it off the car yet but I don't really see any need for it on my car. maybe before I do I'll take a look at it to see if it can be hooked back up or not.
Well, if you get the newer SH0RTER 80mm unit it will be much shorter than the older 77mm unit. If you get the longer 80mm unit than they will be the same.
It's a mixed boat. Poly bushings work well in some application but have drawbacks in others. I use them in my car but I don't really car about handling or how it rides right now which are the downfalls to them.
LOL Just what I'd like to avoid...hahaha Seriously, maybe I'll start a different post where we can have a little fun with the subject over at the Corral???
YOu made the right choice...no doubt IMO.
Thanks everyone!

Joe,
I think it's got more potential as well but I'm not sure I'll be using any of it any time soon. Racing simply cost too much $$$ that I don't have. I'm...
I've got a regular Tremec 3550 in the car. I'd like to get a T-5 in there but again, the money just isn't there for that right now.
Yeah, the G-force internals are fairly common in FS. The G-force stuff is very strong and T-5's don't rob as much power as the Tremec 3550's do.
