Couple pics of a FOX tb swap with 93 cobra intake

That elbow is a 4” dia rubber unit that I picked up at the local truck parts store. They generally have the big stuff like that in stock…elbows, pipe, pipe bends and such. The rest of the setup is simply a Pro-M 77 with a short section of pipe to connect the meter to the elbow. The Pro-M 77...

    Which Spark plugs?

You need an NGK No. 9 but you can get away with Autolite 3923's which you should be able to get at Pepboy's or somewhere else local pretty easily.

Well...the car sat for 1.5 years and now it's actually slower than when it went away

Thanks! Raceweight was 3220-3225 which is 70 lbs heavier than I need to be! GT-40's but to be honest I don't think that these heads are making any more power than my old P heads just yet. However I've never had it to the dyno and those were the first passes on them so it definately is not...

Yeah, that's the standard FOX setup but stock 94-95 IAC's a like in my shots. I'd love to have the FOX setup like you show but it's not extremely important if I don't as long as the hood closes completely.

The stock IAC does hit the hood even without a blanket. I plan to just strip the wires back and get rid of the stock plug to lower the profile of the plug. It should just clear the hood then and allow it to close properly. You can see in one shot how far up it holds the hood up when it's closed.

Well...the car sat for 1.5 years and now it's actually slower than when it went away

The bad vibration when it ran gave it away. That is the only part I changed in the rotating assembly so it was the only thing that could have been causing that.

Not that I'm unhappy about that! About three weeks ago I decided that I would race at the NMRA Joliet event in Factory Stock. So, for the last couple weeks I have been working on the car almost every day/night to get it ready. Well after working on it all that time it still wasn't done...

Thank you BlackEagle!!! I begged and he helped...

Larry stepped up and loaned me a set of wheels and tires this past weekend which I desperately needed to race at the Joliet NMRA event. He took them off his car and let me use them even though he was racing there too! I ended up going through tech with them on the car but getting a different...

Thanks but they have to be BFG's to be legal. I'll be there Sunday. I'll have my 95 and a black enclosed trailer with a couple blue canopies...stop by and say hello.

    Begging for help...

I'll be there Friday morning if the car is together...kind of a last minute thing. I just decided to race two weeks ago and have spent every night since then trying to make my car legal to race and aquire all the parts I need. I've been to many of these events. They will let you run but if...

    Begging for help...

Guys, I know this is a longshot but I’m going to toss it out there anyway. Does anyone near Chicago have a set of 15 x 10 rear wheels with 6.5” b.s. and 275/50/15 BFG DR’s that I can borrow for this weekend for the NMRA race in Joliet? I know that is asking quite a bit so I completely...

    Some vortech info needed.

I've seen 20+ psi with the stock 6.87 and 3.33 pullies in the past... You really need to see what pullies it has on it before you decide what to do. Stock pullies are generally a great starting point.
