    There were a lot of changes in 99. You will need to find the PCM for a 99+ GT, fuel rail and COP with the wiring. Otherwise it should be pretty straightforward. After you get everything in though, you will have to take it in to get the PATS reprogrammed before it will start. :nice:

    That is true with some cars, but not newer Fords. T-birds and Taurus in the late 80's or early 90's had a light that was timed to come on every 3000 miles to remind you to change your oil, but that wasn't tied into the check engine light if I remember correctly... :nice:

    The front O2 sensors are used to maintain the air-fuel ratio while in closed loop operation. If you MIL eliminators on them, you will make your car run rich. The rear O2 sensors are only used to verify that the cats are functioning. Those are the ones you put MIL eliminators on. :nice:

    Mobil 1 is very good, in fact that is what we used in our radar antenna gearbox while I was in the Navy. Now I'm using Quaker State synthetic for high horsepower engines (5W-30) and it costs half what the Mobil 1 does. I don't know how much difference there really is though... :nice:
