    plenum/ throttle bodyand a/f ratio?

They shouldn't lean it out at all, because no matter how much air you let in, it is still metered by the MAF and the MAF voltage is what the PCM uses to determine how much fuel you need. If there is a difference it will only be until the adaptive strategy has corrected the long term fuel trims...

    Anyone have 3:55's?

I disagree, with the stock tires I can't get enough traction to open it up in first gear (ever), and I have to be careful in second gear as well. Since you can't run drag slicks on the street, 3.55 is a reasonable ratio when you have 300 RWHP. :D

    AutoTap and A/F Ratio

You can monitor the O2 sensor outputs, and since the fuel pressure is regulated by the PCM you should be able to monitor the fuel pressure. The voltage on the O2 sensors is constantly changing so it is difficult to determine what your AF ratio is, but you will be able to determine whether you...

PP NPI + S/C or PI Swap?

Stock non-PI heads outflow PI heads once the lift gets above .500 but that does not translate into more power. I don't know how much of the power increase with PI heads can be attributed to the larger exhaust valves and additional .060 lift or how much can be attributed to the intake manifold...

PP NPI + S/C or PI Swap?

I have never regretted installing a blower on my car, but with non-PI heads you will be well below the power level others are at with similar blower setups on 99+ motors. A lot depends on how much you plan to spend and what power level you are targeting. You can port your stock heads and they...

    Anyone have 3:55's?

I have 3.45 and my car goes 66 mph @ 2000 RPM, I wouldn't want to go with a ratio much higher than that. :nice:

help with check engine light needed

You can get a chip and have the tests of the rear O2 sensors turned off; then you will not need to have MIL eliminators at all, and you will not get codes for cat efficiency. :nice:

    Some Newb Forced Induction Q's

You can't eliminate turbo lag, because there will always be a certain amount of time required to get the turbo to spin up. Twin turbos were initially used because small turbos spin up faster than large turbos because they have less inertia to overcome, but they also produce less boost, hence the...

    Radiator/Fan Light?

It probably isn't the radiator or thermostat if the engine isn't overheating, but you may have a leak. Start it up and let it warm up then remove the cap on the coolant bottle. There should be pressure and if there isn't either the cap is bad or you have a leak somewhere. BTW, how do you like...

help with check engine light needed

The first thing I would do is find out why it is coming on. If your assumption is correct it will be cat efficiency. The best way to deal with it is to turn off the least significant bit in both OBDII_MIL_Switch and OBDII_TST_Switch scalars in the PCM. The rear O2 sensors will never bother you...

    Mach 1 Break in?

This is good advice if you want it to last, if you want to trash it before you rack up 10,000 miles listen to the advice of people telling you to drive it like you stole it... :nice:

    HELP! battery/electrical problem

There are lots of things it could be. I would follow the positive battery cable all the way to the starter and make sure it isn't laying against the exhaust. You can rule out the DVD/TV by removing the fuse feeding it. Check the connection from the alternator to the fuse box. There is a nut that...

    Cam Change now Bizarre Noise

You may just need to get it tuned now that you have the new cams. I had to retune mine quite a bit when I installed the PI cams. You have made a much more radical change, and you will probably have to compensate for it in the PCM. :nice:

Can you put 4v heads on a 2v short block?

Short answer: Yes You would have to replace the heads, timing cover, intake, throttle body, air ducts, alternator, PCM, and the wiring harness. I'm not sure exactly what else you may have to replace though.

    Tire Rack sucks

Unlike the tirerack, Discount tires will sell you anything you want to buy and they won't bother to tell you that the tires will stick out 3 inches and get sliced open on the first hard bump you hit. They figure you'll just buy from them again. They will also let you ignore the manufacturer's...

    HELP! battery/electrical problem

It is more likely that you have a short somewhere, and the wiring for the DVD/TV would be a really good place to start looking. It is also, equally plausible that the connection at the fuse block (behind the battery) has come loose, but that wouldn't explain the battery running down. I'm sure...

New gal on the scene needs some help!

Sounds like the brake install was botched, I'd look for the emergency brake cables being mis routed, or pinched somewhere.

    headers or mid pipe first?

You will see more of a noticable difference by replacing the stock-H pipe than anything else in the exhaust system. :nice:
