    if you want to go with aluminum heads you can usually go higher on the compression also depending upon the cam you choose you can get away with more. I have a buddy with 12:1 compression and cast heads and he runs 91 octane without any problems, he has a custom cam. Not sure how he gets...

    1967 Shock Towers - SOHC Engine

    I did it on my stang. Cut out the old, made cardboard templates, cut and shaped steel plates, welded them in, cleaned up welds and painted. I now have 29" between the shock towers. Hopfully you can tell by the pic, Its just 408w but has tons of room.

    drill a hole in the trunk floor, use a nice rubber gromet to protect the cable, and go to the frame. upgrading to bigger cable wouldnt hurt, I use 1GA welding cable

    Won't Start, Help!

    if you know the battery is good, It sounds like the starter soloniod is stuck or bad . Believe it or not a good whack with the plastic handle of a screw driver sometimes frees it. Replace it if is still wont go.
