Ron Morris Street Force vs TCP coilover

I have 500lbs springs on my TCP coilovers, but I could probably have used 450lbs as well, as my engine (351W) has aluminum heads. The ride is perhaps a bit on the stiff side, but a lot better than the original suspension. You could email TCP Tech and have them recommend a spring rate for you.

For anyone thinking about buying Patriot heads....

I've read somewhere that Patriot heads are bad quality China knock-offs of the AFR 185.

New engine - runs but wont idle

I'd get new manifold gaskets, and try again. Also, did you use cork gaskets at the manifold front and rear? If you did, don't do that next time, but use plenty of RTV.

    It begins again.... restarting project

Why not just put a swingdoor behind the licence plate at the current location, and then mount the kill switch on the valence behind it ? Both the Camaro and the 'Cuda came with such doors, so the part is surly repro somewhere. Check at Year One.

How to install a radiator support to hood gasket?

I think on '69 models, only the 302 and 351s didn't come with one.

my brother got the fastback bug and can't find one

If he can settle for a '69, I just spotted one for $10k on Collectorcartrader.com It has damage on the hood, interior is shot, seats looks like Mopar E-body leather seats, and it will take some effort to put in shape. However, it is an S-code (390) Mach 1 with a Top Loader transmission. It...

    Ignition Problem

If you don't have spark, I think that the Pertronix has gone bad. Pull a plug and check for spark. With 12V at the coil, and no spark, the fault has to be in the distributor.

    Negative Wedge Kit Question

You don't need to cut the coil at all. The Shelby 1" drop (relocating the upper A-arm) will lower the car with 1". If I get you correct, you want to lower the car a total of 2" ? I'd rather get some lowering coils, rather than cutting the oil coils. The reason is that a coil that has been cut...

We bought a fastback.....what to do

That sounds like a Pro-Street car.... Well, I'm gonna suggest a g-machine. Mean, low, with a screamin' small block. And no damn Eleanor/shelby tailgate. The '67/'68 Fastback has the best lookin' ass on any Mustang. Keep it. Also, a two tone paint job will look dated in a few years IMO.
