    The crank scraper is a nice feature, but plan ahead on this one; is the crank scraper stroker clearanced? If not you could be in for a surprise down the road when you decide to build that 408W :bang: Not that you would destroy anything, the pan wouldn't simply fit. However the $, the $$...

    I got the Moroso Road Race oil pan. P/N 20505 Don't mind the water/oil mix at the bottom of the pan, it's taken care of. :rolleyes: At least you can see the baffles and the doors. I haven't driven the car yet with it, but it looks like it will get the job done!

    The distributor is 120 degrees wrong is my first reaction, however your method should be getting it right. Have you checked the fireorder? Also, with all that cranking on the starter motor, do you have enough juice to start it ? Also, could the carb or intake be drawing false air ?

    How is your crankcase ventilation ? If it's not vented properly, it can build up pressure and blow gaskets or seals.

    The edelbrock Preformer RPM cam has 6500 rpm as upper limit, and is not the wildest cam out there. I think there should be no problems. Valvetrain has more to say in rpm potential than the crank imo.

    I feel your pain, Jerry! My brother found some PO shortcuts when he restored his '70 Barracuda 2 years ago. Not fun at all. What was supposed to be a quick re-spray turned out to a full restoration, costing 3 times as much. All I can say is, hang in there, It'll be worth it in the end!

    +1 If you buy GW, you will not regret it. But are you gonna regret not buying? Got the TCP stuff myself, loves it! Even if you're not going racing, there are those times when a good tune comes on the radio, and you get into a little more "spirited driving".

    17 inch wheels with Tcp coilover

    I'm running TCP coil-overs on a 17"x8 rim 4.5 backspacing. The tire is 245/45-17. No issues.
