    synthetic oil question

I'm planning on running Agip Racing 10W-60 and STP Oil Treatment. I read on another board that the STP Oil Treatmnet adds sink to the oil, which helps the cam to survive. Gonna break in the engine with regular oil. BTW, I got a question; I've just had my engine apart for the first time...

    Demon carb tuning...help

I'd reset the butterfiles, if they are open on idle, you may get a flooded carb. Also, I'd check the accelerator pump linkage. It could be keeping the butterflies open.

    Help Buying 69 Notchback

Hard to tell without any pictures, but the major thing is, it's running and all the parts are there? I guess 3000 isn't to bad for a running '69 Mustang. BTW, it's "Fastback" or in the '69-'73 cars, it's actually "SportsRoof" (with capital R), but everyone just say Fastback.

tons of questions about engine build

You should order the Feb. 2007 issiue of Popular Hot Rodding Magazine. It has an article about a 418ci Windsor build, and answers some of your questions. It states that the Windsor can safely handle 650 - 675 hp, and they can manage 1,000 hp, but then you don't know for how long. The mains...

    Factory tach to MSD ignition

I know Red Line Gaugeworks does this, as there was an article in Mustang Monthly Magazine about this. I need to do this anyway, since my tach is busted (Why repair, when I can convert). However, they don't reply my e-mails... perhaps they won't have foreign customers. I'd better try Tachman.

Problems with my TCP rack and KRC pump

I also have this system installed, and has had no problems. I'd take off the hoses, flush them with hot water, and then try again (if you have't tried that allready). But it might not be the source of your problem. At idle my car is heavier than when driving. But the pump isn't making noises. Do...

    Factory tach to MSD ignition

You'll need this: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MSD%2D8920&N=700+4294925143+4294849427+115&autoview=sku It's the 8920 adapter. A friend of mine is running it in his '70 Mach 1. Works like it should. Read the .pdf for install guidance.

anyone know where I can find out of production toyo tires?

Over in Germany, at www.reifen.com 225/50/16 and 235/50/16 Toyo Proxes T1-R FSL. I've ordered there myself, and they shipped all the way to Norway, no problems.

    351W build: what to reuse?

I'd go with a 750 cfm carb and a Edelbrock Air-Gap manifold... I'm very satisfied with that combo on my 351W. :nice:
