Black Valve Covers: Yes or NO?

+1 to the black valve covers, but perhaps paint the red letters/stripe to match your car' exterior color? Or perhaps the engine color? Just throwin' out some ideas...

    Demon vs. Quick Fuel??

I had some tuning issues with my 750 Speed Demon too. Pulled it apart, brake-clean and pressured air everywhere, in all the holes to blow out CNC shavings, which I've read is a problem for Demons. Then I jetted it down 2 sizes on the primarys. Never had a problem since, but I've noticed it's...

    Question - 351W flexplate

What type flexplate on a 1969 351W? 164 tooth or 157 tooth? 28oz or 50oz? I could't find any markings on the old one, and I'm to lazy to count the teeth. :D

Your thoughts on engine for road racing

A little bit of everything... I'm not that experienced, I've just been to a couple of track days, but I got a few ideas anyhow. Not so much on the engine, but on other things... First off, if you haven't been to the track yet, do it. You'll learn so much about your car, and what needs to be...

TCP Subframe Connectors & Magnaflow Exhaust

I haven't, but I have a TCP center brace that don't fit, because my exhaust doesn't run along the driveshaft tunnel. I.E if the Magnaflow system does that, has offset muffler inlet and center outlet, it should fit. My current exhaust mufflers has both center inlet and outlet, and that is enough...

    cool ebay find

The rear quarter panel ends is from a '67-'68? I've always wondered how that rear would look on a '69. The '67-'68s got the nicest rear end of all the classic years. To bad so many are ruining them with the Shelby rear valance/decklid.

    351 choices

Go for the Windsor. A friend of mine once had a '68 with cleveland, and changeing the sparkplugs was a weekend job! If you want the Cleveland heads, Edelbrock's 351 Cleveland heads actually fits Windsors too, IIRC.

    Suspension setup opinions

To make it more like a new car, you need Subframe Connectors. I installed the TCP Rack and coil-overs last winter, but it wasn't until I had driven the car for a week that I installed the subframe connectors, and that was when the big difference in car handling came. Subframe connectors is the...

    Open diff?

There is a 3rd option, the True-Trac. It is a torque sensing differensial (torsen type) that transfer power to the wheel with the most resistance. If you are driving straight ahead, you have equal resistance on both weels, and it is locked. When comming to a turn, the outer wheel has more...

anyone have a picture of the TCP rack and pinion steering setup?

I can answer that. You do, but it's a real easy job. Just pull out the old steering shaft, install the new one, and cut the supplied intermediate shaft to correct length. Here is a picture of my modified column.

I had a similar problem last year. Turned out to be the electric fan relay that was wired up wrong. It didn't drain the battery as fast as yours dough.

    Cam Recomendation

I had that cam, but when a lobe was wiped, I went for a Edelbrock RPM cam. Which I regret. I'm gonna switch back to the XE262H this winter. :hail2:
