    Mine would take out 3 ribs or more. Yours looks good. Being frayed on the side "I" think is normal, but I could be wrong.

    That's why if I ever do another stang, it'll be turbo or big ci. Heck, the stang with 4.10's N/A alone was fun to drive. :)

    Mine tossed 7 belts, and had to be towed 3 times. I blame the Reichart Racing pulley, and my builder said that 8-rib setups are VERY tricky to align. But it's possible to get them running right, I just didn't have the patience. Good luck brother, may the patron saint of boost shine upon you.

    FWIW, I had the Cobra pumps and Cobra tank on my 99 GT with Novi 2000, 14# pulley, no cooler and I put down 505rwhp, 452tq. I think you'll be fine.

    A tech post is anything that will incite a discussion about tech. So asking a horsepower number from a combo IS a tech post. Asking which catback to go with a midpipe is a tech thread. We have 4.6 Talk so that the 4.6ers have a place to BS and post pictures of their rides.

    It goes without saying that you shouldn't run full boost with 1/4 tank. It wasn't the Cobra pumps that allowed you to run like that, it was the gas tank, had different sumps in it.

    Not necessarily. I had MagnaPacks with a Dr. Gas offroad X and BBK LT's. Reminded me of Homer Simpson, "when I start my car, I want the neighbors to think the world is coming to an end." Then again I also had forged shortblock, Novi 2000 and MPH blower cams. :D Concerning the Magnaflow...

    It will be a LITTLE louder, more throaty and deeper. If you're thinking of keeping the stock H for a while, I highly recommend the MagnaPacks. I had them, LOVED them.

    The difference of 4.10's in an automatic won't be that noticeable as they are on a manual car. Typically the rule of thumb is: 2V manual - 4.10 2V auto - 4.30 4V manual - 4.30 4V auto - 4.56 (all N/A of course)

    In all my years of exhaust changes, I have found that the Dynomax catback was the quietest. Period. The only way you would know it's there is if you added an offroad X-pipe.

    Correct. Remember, boost isn't a measure of airflow, it's a measure of pressure in the intake. So better flow in the heads equals less pressure, which is a good thing.
