    A/C Removed, Finally!!!

Looks good man. That was one of the first things I did to my car. Haven't even really missed it. There was about a month in the summer where I wouldn't have minded having it, but it was nothing unbearable. Now get rid of that nasty looking EGR.

    Wheel not Centered in Fenderwell

Something looks horribly wrong. It shouldn't be like that. Anyone who says that's normal and their car is like it has a problem with their car too.

DEAD! (Where has 94/95 talk gone?)

I haven't really been around because I've been pretty angry at my car and looking to buy something else. :leaving: Not sure if I will anytime soon, but you know.

    Price of 2010 Stang

Chrysler has already said there will be no vert Challenger. It would take too much extra bracing and make the already fat LX platform even fatter.

    about time

If you only had a joints worth you should have scarfed that **** down. A year though, that's some bull****. So tell us about your 351 powered corner carver.

    New game plan

I've seen standard bore early 351W blocks go for cheap. Like $150 cheap. I personally wouldn't buy it if it's already been bored over .030 or more. It's too easy to find a standard bore 351W block to settle for that.

    tail pipes..

I took the stock exhaust off my old Mach 1 without cutting it. I put the car up as high as I safely could on jackstands, then jacked up the axle a bit, unhooked the shocks and upper control arms, lowered the axle to relieve the pressure from the springs, and then you start taking the tailpipes...

    09 challenger = 3.90's

I don't know what the deal is with imports and going through the traps in 5th. I've seen that before with Subarus, Evos, DSMs.....I dunno, I'm not into them. Here's the ratios for the Challenger; 1st:2.97, 2nd:2.10, 3rd:1.46, 4th:1.00, 5th:0.74, 6th:0.50. I decided to enter the numbers into a...

    09 challenger = 3.90's

Not trying to start a pissing match, but my '04 Cobra was a 6 speed and I went through the traps at the top of 4th and never had any problems at the track. Never had any problems in my Uncles WS6 which had a 6 speed. Or my Dad's Vette. If you look at the ratios of the TR6060 in the...

    09 challenger = 3.90's

The tranny is a TR6060 derived from a Viper.....I wouldn't really call that a crappy transmission. I agree with the tire size/gear thing though. The tires on those are ~28.5" tall. I bet some 4.30s work pretty nice in them.

    09 challenger = 3.90's

Only the 6 speeds will get them though. All the SRT8 6 speeds get them.....to get them with the R/T you have to order the 20" wheels. If you get a R/T with the standard 18" wheels it comes with 3.73s.

How to : AC Removal, Anyone have a step by Step?

You need to take it to a shop that does AC work and has the right equipment to evacuate an AC system. It should cost no more than $40-50. 94ChickStang - It's pretty simple. Get the system evacuated, get some AC line removal tools, and take out the compressor, drier/lines. You can take...

How to : AC Removal, Anyone have a step by Step?

+1. You can take a piece of string and wrap it around the pullies like a belt to get a general idea of what size belt you'll need.

    Front speaker depth?

I don't have any measurements for you, but I put some Polk 6.5" components in the doors of my '94. I made a adapter ring out of some wood to install the speaker and didn't have a single problem with clearance or anything else. Here's a link to specs on the speakers I used and some pics...

    Manual rack

Anyone here have a manual rack that's running skinnies? I bet that wouldn't be tough to drive at all. I've driven manual steering cars before, but they all had normal sized street tires on them.

Who's going to the NMRA final's in Bowling Green?

If I'm reminded a few weeks before the event I will probably go; I'm about an hour away from BG. A lot of times I don't keep up with when things are happening though and I miss out.

    Summit adjustable clutch cables...

Looks like you had to learn the hard way that the only cables worth a crap are factory Ford pieces. I'm glad you got it fixed though and you didn't have any problems with work.
