    just curious, why do you need the heater on? theres no heater valve like some rangers and explorers. i guess theres no hurt in having the heater on. just fill up the reservoir with the cap open, run the car until the thermostat opens, sohc - upper radiator hose will get hot dohc-lower...

    smoke test the evap system and look for a leak. youll need to control the cannister purge valve via WDS or NGS. you could try erasing it. disconnect the battery, if the code comes back, there definitely is something leaking in the system.

    why would you pay 6K for a salvaged vehicle? :nice: i paid 800 for my T boned rear wrecked cobra. made my money back selling the brakes and front end parts. and profited 2500 with the drivetrain. did get the vehicle running before i sold it :nice:

    but at least youll have peace of mind as far as pple actually going off with your ride other than if they have a tow truck or a programmed key i havent had too much success when i had to make keys off the vin. supposedly if the key cylinders havent been changed, you could get a blank key cut...
