general consensus is to run the lowest octane possible w/o detonation, pinging, etc...if it runs like crap with 87, try 89, if it still does step up to 91/2, if that dont work something must be wrong with your car ...cause im pretty sure foxes werent rated at 93
use the hood from an 82 with the later four eye front :nice:....i commend you in your efforts also :hail2:, see a lot of converted cars around :notnice:
i think the repetitive questions should just be stickied...like......
Sticky: Gear Choices
Sticky: How to run 13's
Sticky: T5 swaps
Sticky: How to 300RWHP
Sticky: Shifter picks
that'd cut down on the repetitive posts
im 17 and my LT1 has a lil bit of power ;)...ive gotten used to driving in the rain, it sucks...im kinda scarred about what winter will bring, as is my car gets sideways when someone spits on the street :D
i got bad knees and do 99% city driving....maybe on the highway 2 times a month :D..wouldnt trade it for anything..i dont really like driving auto cars anymore :nice:
i didnt read Mike's post but i can gurantee that hes right :D...actually, if you ask some big HP n/a guys, a majority of them will say they run hypers over forged, due to lower cost and they weigh less :nice:
ET drags flat out hook better...but the streets will last ya a little longer, but youre going fast enough to where changing from slick to better slick will get ya better times so i say stick with the drags
