    Mac mufflers?

I have the MAC's welded in, and I think they sound great. IMO, they have a nice deep rumble like Flowmasters, but they seem to be a little louder than Flows when you really get on it.

    H Pipe Install

Yeah, my MAC mufflers have the black HTS coating and it's held up great so far.

    H Pipe Install

Honestly, I wouldn't trust them to not round it off either.

    H Pipe Install

Yeah, I can't wait to get this thing put on and hear how it sounds. Hopefully I'll get it on this weekend. Thanks for all the tips guys! If anybody else has any more, keep them coming.

    H Pipe Install

OK, I was planning on buying a medium-well socket this week before going back at it next weekend. It seemed like I could get a better angle on it that way. Glad to see that others used one of those too.

    H Pipe Install

I know there are several topics on this already, but I couldn't find anything on this specifically. My wife got me a MAC Off-Road H for my birthday. I tried to install it this weekend, and as expected, the passenger side bolts were a pain. So much of a pain that I wasn't able to...

    guys with weld-in mufflers

I've got 2.5" MAC's welded in. The guy at the shop just made some adapters to go from 2.25" to 2.5". The 2 1/4" should just weld straight on to the stock pipes without any adapters.

    Need tuning info!

You should be running faster than that. I ran a 14.33 with only welded in MAC's and a drop-in K&N. As already posted, a tune will recalibrate your speedometer.

Where to pick up a Mach 1 Chin Spoiler?!

I think www.thefordsource.com has them in stock. Go to their homepage, and scroll down about halfway to Mach 1 Mustang parts. You'll find it in there.

    Need advice for a beginner

Yeah, the PI swap would definitely be a good idea. If time & money allows it, that should probably be the first thing to try and get done.

    Need advice for a beginner

I would recommend exhaust and gears. The exhaust will give you some extra horsepower and make your car sound great too. You'll probably have some people tell you not to install that CAI if it's one of those metal ones because the metal gets so hot it turns into a HOT air intake.

Cleaning MAF sensor, K&N filter problem?

I agree...I don't think the warm weather would cause the filter to all of a sudden start leaking oil out of it onto the MAF. Like Canuck said, I think it's just the hot weather and higher octane gas should take care of it.

Full throttle in 3rd would be more like 90 wouldn't it?

    nankang tires??

I bought my Nankang tires locally, although I have seen them on ebay. The ones I had were 245/45 17. I'm not sure what other sizes the Nankangs come in. I believe your wheels are 17 x 8. The maximum recommended width for this wheel is a 255. However, some people go as wide as 275 with no...

    nankang tires??

I had a set of Nankangs on bullitt wheels on my V6 before I got my GT. At that time I was driving about 200 miles per day back and forth to school. I thought they held up very well. I got about 40k miles out of them, probably could have gotten a bit more if my alignment had not worn the edges...

you guys heard about the ford fires involving the cruse control switch?????

Yep, this is exactly what happens. Looks like the Mustangs are not at risk for this.

    U/D pulleys...finished installation

I would really like to get a set of the Steeda pulleys, but I've heard just enough horror stories about oil pumps and such to be scared of them.

    Speedo not right

Not if you went from say 3.27's to 3.73's. It would read higher than what you are actually going. My brother-in-law went from 2.73's to 3.73's in his 95 GT, and his speedo read close to 100 on the freeway when you were actually going around 70.
