Grundy has way more limitations on driving than Haggerty does. I was going to change my policy over to them, until they sent me a laundry list of no-no's that I had to sign before policy would have been accepted. If you are driving that kind of mileage, then you are most likely daily driving...

    Poll: Luxury vs. Performance

I'm with you. I am from the school of been there and done that. As a DD, driving through S.Florida traffic all day long, I want to be comfortable. For the amount of times I will use the performance, it is not worth losing comfort. For performance, that is a weekend car for me. Try driving my...

    Insurance

I have Haggerty, and I had a $48000 claim with them about 2 years ago, and it did not stop them from renewing my policy. There are many companies you can investigate. Haggerty, Grundy and Heacock to name a few. Request agreed value of $50K and see what happens. The underwriters will decide if...

Will Fox Bodies go up in value?

You stole that car. Probably could have sold it a day later and walked away with a tidy little profit. Now, how about this car. 93GT with over a day to go at $15K. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-HATCHBACK-SPORTS_W0QQitemZ300193565107QQihZ020QQcategoryZ6236QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Will Fox Bodies go up in value?

Fox bodies are increasing in value, unfortunately, it isn't the ones that have been modded with everything including what seems like the kitchen sink. Hate to dissagree with some opinions, but have you seen the prices of stock, low mileage coupes? Have you seen the prices on stock, low mileage...

Roush Buy It Now 110,000 dollars, lol

You hit the nail on the head when it comes to Barrett Jackson. Newer cars have little appeal to the purchasing public at a Barrett Jackson or any of the other collector car auctions. People looking to purchase at these auctions are looking for older, classic cars, not something they can find on...

Roush Buy It Now 110,000 dollars, lol

The reality is, they will make the parts that cannot be made in a shop if there is a call for them. People want to have Shelby recreations, and that is why Shelby specific parts are made. The total number of all Shelby's was less than 1/2 of 1% of the total Mustang production. That being the...

Roush Buy It Now 110,000 dollars, lol

In some ways, I agree, there may be many parts that are Saleen specific that may never be reproduced. But we don't know what will happen in 30 years. It is very possible, you may be able to get Saleen calipers, only time will tell. Bottom line, we do not know what the Saleen will bring in...

    My 428 will not Start

Sure you can use them, but you will lose points. This is not coming from me, but from MCA Judges, and I quote from a thread recently about this exact thing on VMF http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/showtopic.php?tid/1477649/ As quoted by Laurie Swanson MCA Gold Card Judge, 67-68 Concours...

    My 428 will not Start

If it is sputtering gas out of it, it would either be stuck floats or needle valve as stated above. I had the same issue a while back from not driving the car. Gummed up badly. Maybe now you took the float bowls off and moved the floats that may have corrected it. You say you have a pertonix...

Was there a 69 Indian Fire CJ Convertible at B-J?

Well Marti posted on VMF about this car. Basically he said it was 1 of zero, so make you best guess about the authenticity of this car based on his extensive database.

Roush Buy It Now 110,000 dollars, lol

Please do not compare a classic Shelby car to this. From a performance standpoint, most modern cars would kick their butts, but you are not buying a classic car like a Shelby for that reason. Heck, I can throw an S-trim on a 4.6-3V and give the S351 a run for it's money.

Was there a 69 Indian Fire CJ Convertible at B-J?

There is some discussion on this car at 428cg.org that the car may have been a fake, and it originally was a 302 car. Have no clue if that is true or not, considering there was supposed to be lots of documentation on this car including Marti Report, buildsheet and invoice.

65 Coupe Window Glass - I need a vendor. Help!

There are quite a few suppliers of glass for Mustangs. Here are two that I have used in the past. OEM will be more expensive because all of thier glass is made in usa. PS auto glass will be cheaper and quicker, especially if you have the logo and date code etched in...

    Roush Saleen Store Closing?

That is going to be the issue, can they survive. You are correct in saying this is a very tough market, and it isn't getting better, especially for specialty cars like the Saleen.
