    If test cars are the same, mods. are the same, dyno is the same place, and SAE corrected, shouldn’t the two baselines be the same? How much difference are the two baselines?

    New Plenum test on the way!

    According to the first plenum test, the test car was making 256/289 SAE. Now the car is making 272/310 SAE with one of the plenums and a 75mm Accufab TB. That's a gain of 16 rwhp and 21 rwtq.! Am I missing something or do I have it correct?

    *4.10's and the highway*

    Well put. I feel the exact same way. 5th gear pulls well, but at the same time, the high revs. keep me at lower crusing speeds (70-75mph) which is a good thing. Just nice to know if you want to bump up to 80 or 85mph to pass someone, the power is there in 5th gear.

    gear installation question

    I bought the master bearing kit with my gear swap. It comes with the pinion and carrier bearings. I think the pinion bearing always gets changed, but the carrier bearings are optional. My car had 42K and my carrier bearings were shot. The bearing housing was starting to pit.

    C&L inlet tube question? VS. MAC CAI.

    I don't believe the Roush pipe will fit anything but the stock 65mm TB and the stock MAF. I asked them via e-mail and that's what they told me. Looks good on your car though. The C&L is made to fit the 75mm TB and their 80mm MAF.

    Did you add your TB/plenum before or after you already had your car dyno tuned? If you added the TB/plenum after your car was already tuned, it may the cause for your leaner a/f ratio. I don't see why your tuner would have intentionally made your a/f ratio 14:1. Maybe it was like 13ish...

    Don't know if this helps, but my dyno tune moved my a/f ration from 11:1 to 13:1. Looks like you are running 14:1. You may some a few more hp./tq. if you richened the mixture a bit. I'm not an expert on tuning though.

    Most mods. hp/tq. gains are overrated. Their overrating becomes a reality when you actually dyno the mods. yourself. There are not a whole lot of N/A proven mods. for our cars. If your staying N/A, there is some power to be had in the exhaust and stock computer programing. That's about it...
