    Why not a Richmond?

Although not installed, I've got a Richmond 6 spd. You guys are scaring me about rear gear choice though. Martz Chassis talked me into a 3.89. Hope 1st through 3rd are usable. I've always heard great things about richmond.

To cage or not to cage

When or if I install one, it will be as hidden as possible. The cross hoop that goes over your head along with the bars over the the windows will most likely be hidden behind a molded fiberglass sub roof if you will. Kind of like the Boyd Coddington corvette that was built with the 1500hp...

To cage or not to cage

I should just stick to my gut feeling, and at least put a 6 pt in it. If I were to put a 6 or 8 pont in it, would it be goofy to just put lap belts in it? I do not think I want the all out race look as far as seats go.

To cage or not to cage

Hey guys, thought to post poll but think I'll just ask instead. If you were building around a 500hp mustang and plan to take it to the track occationally, would you cage it? If I installed a cage, it will be because I would need it. It's probably borderline on hp level. Acually, I wish I could...

    67/68 Fastback for parts

I recently installed new rear trunk corners on my 67 fastback. Since FB rear corners were not available from any vender, I ended buying some for a coupe. I was told that this would work, and it did. Actually I think I bought two sets. Let me know if your interested in them.

    6 point cage

My car is tore completely down. I agree, I want a perfect fit as well. Though it seems, there are many folks out there with a different definition of perfect. I'm a little tired of giving money to folks only to regret not doing the job myself. Thanks guys. I think I will call around the Houston...

    6 point cage

Around how much is it going to cost you for moly vs carbon steel? Also maybe you can help on this as well. If a car isn't disassembled, how is it possible for these cages to be installed with full welds at the joining pieces(back side of the pipe)? Thanks for the response.

    6 point cage

Who all here have attempted to build/install a 4 or 6 point cage in there classic pony? I am tempted to buy a used pneumatic bender and give it a shot. I am not really interested in a pre fabbed cage. Instead, I am wanting something that is more discrete and provides a better fit. Thanks

    Heidt's Rear 4-Link Coil-Over Suspension

Hey Ronstang, what track are you planning to run on? I would like to eventually get into this type of racing. Also, who are you going to get to install the cage? Hope I'm not being too nosy.

    Heidt's Rear 4-Link Coil-Over Suspension

I received my measurement sheet from Gary at Martz Chassis and I plan to order mine this week as well. I might have considered the air bar setup, if it would allow for a minitub.

    Heidt's Rear 4-Link Coil-Over Suspension

suspension I have debated this for a while as well. I am 95% sure I'm going with Martz Chassis set up. It's probably a little more geared toward drag strip performance versus road racing, which is fine for me as long as it does not bind on the street(which have heared that it does not). You can...

    1969 Fastback PROJECT

I wish someone would buy this from you, because I'm tired of being tempted to buy it. I think you would sell it much quicker if fenders doors and hood were on and alligned. Also installing the 9" obviously would help. If I did not have a 67 I'm working on and 69 shell on the waiting list, I...

    preference on sheetmetal

I just bought both rear full quarters and upper cowl from John's Mustang which are from Dynacorn(spelling). I may try to take them back, because ya'll are scarring me! Who all carries originals. I guess everyone most likely sells dynacorn that do not carry originals.

Get with Martz Chassis. They can help with a mini tub set up. A little $$$$ but looks great and I have not heared anything negative about them.
