    Kurt, I will snap a picture of it and attempt to post. I know it has a crack or quarter's wide piece missing. I've often seen that on these cars, must be a weak/thin spots in the mold?

    1989 Won't Start

    Since you confirmed the firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8, the injectors are putting fuel into cylinders 3, 7, 5, & 4 on the exhaust stroke instead of compression. You need to get a correct firing order camshaft in there to match the EFI 1-3-7..... firing order.

    If you re-arrange the injector harness to match the non-HO firing order of that cam, the ecu will be fighting itself and cause you more problems once running. IMHO, you should just put an HO cam in it. In reply to RJM saying it will run with 4/8 cylinders being correct...try to start a 2 cyl...

    Does this mean you just converted it to EFI using an 89 ecu/wiring or did you use the whole motor? What year is the motor if you didnt use the 89 HO motor? What im getting at is, you may be firing injectors into the runners at the wrong times if its a non-HO motor/cam.

    need help selecting Stage 8 fasteners

    +1 on the Percy split lock hardware. They've worked great over the years, never have to worry about header leak. AND you can for sure lock every fastener.
