2010 Mustang Gt Vs 2015 Mustang Gt

You saddle up on anything with the 5.0 in it and you'll be signing the note before you can take a second breath. It's just plain light years ahead of the 4.6, even if the 4.6 is modded. With a tune and a little exhaust work on a 5.0, you'll hit the parts-scattering point on a 4.6 with a...

Forced Induction Vmp Supercharger Installed- :-d

Yep, sure is purty. Dyno looks great for someone with the sense to not push the stock shortblock over its limits so, the fun lasts a long time. I'd do the same and be laughing every day.

    O2 Signal Wire On A 2012 5.0

Easy to test for. Back probe the wires, engine running. the one that is fluctuating between 0.1-1v is the signal.

    Sway Bar Help.

Front bars are unchanged. Rear bar is 24 mm, v. 22 for your car. I'd focus on tightening up the shocks here, as that's what's mushy, especially non-Brembo, heavyweight convertible. Cheapy, cheapy, you could replace all the sway bar bushing with energy suspension poly units and see if that makes...

    Engine Tunes

I'd say your improvement was more due to more practice than the Flowmaster AB, especially since you cut some ET. Your mph is in synch with a stock auto 5.0. To see certain power gains with exhaust on this car, you need off-road H/X at least, or LT headers, and a tune for it. I'm broken record...

    5.0 Burning Oil

I've been hotrodding cars and bikes for over 30 years and teach auto shop. The advice you got there is old school and of limited relevance on a modern engine. Clearances can open up and impair performance without displaying any outward signs, like smoke, etc. I reiterate, if heavyweight oil...

    5.0 Burning Oil

If straight weight oil quiets the engine down and improves power it's loose as hell and worn. Multi weight oils are straight weights with additive packages to push their performance down to lower temperatures. So, 5W20 isn't 5 weight oil. It's 2o weight oil with additives to render 5 weight...

    All Weather Floor Mats

Well...there's the preventative route of cleaning it weekly with a bristle brush and soap and water but, that's too much work. One sunny day, I'll pull them out and bristle them as clean as possible, coat them with Armour All or Back to Black and let them sit in the sun a while to evap off the...

    All Weather Floor Mats

Latter is correct. Two years of slush, snow, salt, grime and ground in dirt have taken their toll on the surface appearance of the WT in my car but, the carpet is mint. If I work a bit, I could restore the appearance if the mats but, I dont really care, they are there to do a job and they do it.

    All Weather Floor Mats

It's a floor mat. Think what your saying. It's going to get beat up over time. Nothing is going to protect the carpet better than that digitally sized plastic bucket that is the WT. Every car is different. The 11+ cars are a little complex around the outer edge. I don't have the backs as I don't...

Anyone Have The Factory Puddle Lamps

Why would you think they'd be 6 volts? Nothing is 6 volts. there are some things that use a 5 volt reference and such but nothing is powered by less than 12, afaik.

Drivetrain Is The Manual Transmission Reliable?

All 2013+ cars have HIDs standard. As long as it has the sensor, yer gold....plus you'll get a switch for some manly driving lights for later, hehe

Drivetrain Is The Manual Transmission Reliable?

Hmmm....well, the switch isn't too expensive so, it might be worth a try though, I'd be curious why Ford would put a light sensor in cars w/o this option. Little things do change. My car has Tech, HID, blah blah, everything so, I'm not always sure what other option loads get. ...and use trim...

Drivetrain Is The Manual Transmission Reliable?

If you have HIDs, they have auto headlights. It's the farthest click to the right on the switch, at least it is on my Canadian '12.

    2014 Gt Intake Silencer Removal??

Just because it's common doesn't mean it does anything. The power in this engine is in the tune you put on it. Basic mechanics will also tell you that unless you change the volumetric efficiency of the engine, with say, cams, compression, porting, forced induction, etc., there is little to be...

    2014 Gt Intake Silencer Removal??

Dude, you need to research this car a bit more and discard your old 4.6 thinking. That "snorkel" is the cold air part of your cold air intake. it's more than sufficient to feed this engine all the air it needs, naturally aspirated. the drop in K&N was a waste of money, too.

First Mustang Owned For Ten Days Already Needs Clutch

Don't think so....same site....4.6, 2010: $290 for 4.6 clutch/PP.....my mistake for reading the year wrong in the first place. Tousley Ford is totally reputable as a vendor.

First Mustang Owned For Ten Days Already Needs Clutch

Clutches aren't expensive, it's the install that is alot of work and alot of money. Factory clutch/PP can be had for about $350. Boss clutch $367. Flywheel's about 100 bucks new, if you don't want to cut your oem one...
