    Tuning Holley Carb

Hey guys. I have a 4bbl Holley carb, P/n- 0-80457S I'm running really rich (I can occasionally get a whiff of gas while the engine is idling) I was wondering how to properly tune the carburetor, so as to improve my gas mileage and have my engine run a little bit better. I have no...

    Turbulance?

I htink it might be. When I'm driving into a head wind on the highway the car feels virtually uncontrollable...it's scary. I also have manual steering if that would have anyhting to do with it. Even on a non windy day or with a tail wind, excess speeds (80+) scare me, which is why I've never...

    Transmission kickdown?

Isn't the vacuum line running from the intake to the tranny the thing that regulates the kick down and such?

    66 Fastback Buildup

You might check out www.ThumperPerformance.com for an engine as well. I've been posting with the...engine rebuilder and marketer, I believe, on some other forums for quite some time. His name is Mike and his uncle owns the shop. He's a real great guy and he knows his stuff. I don't have first...

    1966 Rear Question

Thanks man Do you know how much torque. I'm sitting with about 300 hp right now and want to get up to right about the 350 range so I'd hve near 300 at the wheels, but didn't want to have to get into the expensive stuff with the rear and all, and I have no intention of running slicks. Thanks...

    1966 Rear Question

I was just wondering as to how much power the stock rear end in a 1966 Mustang Fastback would hold up to? If you need any other info I'll get it up as soon as possible. Thanks for your replies.

    Finished carpeting my trunk

Looks really good man! I want to do the same thing with mine...I can't stand the stock mats that go in the back. What did you use...dense particle board? Looks like it was a lot of work but the finished product is really nice!

A Few Sniffles and a Question for Members

Hehehe, is that a plow on front?? I wouldn't mind a set of those tires actually, lol. We just had a light snow last week, and the roads were garbage in my stang. I'm somewhat the same as you. No garage to park it in, and seeing as I'm a highschool student and it's my daily driver, I drive it in...

Starting after driving / vs cold start

Lawton is really nice. I love the "mountains." As long as you catch the weather right it makes for a great day of the outdoors, or a great photoshoot fot the mustang at the peak of the "mountain"

Starting after driving / vs cold start

Lol, 80 dgree weather sounds much much nicer. I didn't realize that,. It shouldnt be too hard to start. Mine's a pain in the ass to start in the mornings here in Oklahoma when its around 40 degrees.

Starting after driving / vs cold start

Maybe you guys have a drain in the battery? We had our alternator wires crossed, so after driving and killing it, then trying to start it again it was real hard to start. If it was parked overnight then tried, it would start fine. As for not starting up to well when it's cold, these carbed...

Any hunters in the crowd?? ***pics***

Dressed is hide on and guts out. I guess you guys don't have to check in deer when you bag them? Usua;;y they have scales at check-in stations. I'm sure the regs are wayyyy different up there in Canada though.

How to replace 65-66 trunk lock?

Turn the key in the bezel all the way to the right, just as if you were opening the trunk, and with it there push the button down and pull the cylinder out.

Any hunters in the crowd?? ***pics***

Looks to be more than a 65-70 pounder dressed. I have the same question of what the dressed weight was? That's a nice buck. Good spread on the antlers.
