    :rlaugh: I know it would make an awesome daily driver. I'll be very interested in getting a used one in a few years. Been dd'ing Fox bods since '88 so it will be nice to finally upgrade. This is the first newer Mustang, besides the '03 Cobra that I really want.

    Nice. I have made it a point not to drive one. I know I'd love it and I would end up doing something impulsive. "You're missing the point, honey. This-is-a Two Thousand and Eleven, Five-Point-O! I mean, I pretty much had to do it!" :shrug:

    I think you'll miss your current car ... a lot. Especially from a performance/driving standpoint. The difference for me is that the beige interior doesn't excite me much and I've already done t-tops (85GT). They're cool but I can't say I miss them. If your '89 was on the decline and looking...

    Paint Poll

    WS You can never go wrong with a black Fox bod but I've seen enough of them. One of my dreams combos would be a WS hatch with Chrome Pony R's. Normally I'm not into the flashy look but I would love this set-up. The paint on that new CS GT someone posted is also sweet.

    Bullitt Springs

    I wish I'd grabbed a set of Bullitt springs when I had the chance. Performance Parts, Inc carried them (along with Mach 1 springs) for a while. I can't recall the price but I seem to remember it being very reasonable.

    We already know these things. I was just restating his original intent for izak. :shrug: The first time I did a full wot run in my bone stock, 2.73 geared aod I couldn't believe I was actually driving a 5.0. :notnice:

    izak, also keep in mind that his whole point is to see how far an unmodified AOD will take him.

    Shelby GT500 sucks !

    As for the old original post I wasn't very impressed with the 2007 GT500 either (looks or performance-wise). The 2011 on the other hand is a bad mofo.

    rsw007 has been running his AOD for a while now and has put down good numbers. Might be good to look him up. I don't know the extent of his mods at this point.
