    removing air silencer

    It's the first thing I did to my 2004 gt. I drove the mustang to about 500 miles and then took off the silencer. It may be in my head but it sounded better and seemed to pull harder. I wouldn't put it back on.

    need to know what mods will void warranty

    Talk to the service manager at the dealership. My guy said that flowmasters would void the warranty on the exhaust only. A chip would void the warranty on the cpu and the engine. K & N filter would not void the warranty but he advises against it because people pop one in and forget to...

    Why so fast when cold?

    IMO, the "extra" power is because of the cold temps. Back when I had the Sentra Se-R, that car would run and pull in the cooler weather. I notice it now with the GT.

    2004 GT's

    Have GT emblem on left side of trunk, and mustang gt in cursive script on side with 40th anniversary bade. Do not have magnaflow tips.
