    Cure for front end popping!

    my car also makes a popping noise. it only does it when i turn the steering wheel to the left, and the noise didnt start until i lowered my car though.

    hey i was wondering what everyones opinion is about the vrs x-pipe. currently i have some bbk LTs, and bbk catted-x. i want to get a vrs o/r x. do you guys think it will make much difference in performance over the bbk? and if i get one should i pay the extra 60 bucks and get stainless steel?

    i think i know the feeling youre talking about, but my car is a manual, and you said the car can "get rubber" when shifting. im thinking maybe its ur TC, i know if i shift into 2nd or 3rd hard my power will cut out if i dont turn off my TC. but what do i know i dont have an auto :shrug:

    lol i dont think its very likely the spring will actually fly out of the front, i had to push down rly hard on the a-arm to get it down far enough to get the stock spring out. as for the back, its really easy basically all u have to do is take the sway bar off, then take out 1 bolt that holds...

    yea you could just take them out, will lower ur car even more, i dont have any isolators at all, i just put tape on the spring where it rubs, and no squeaks or anything so far lol.

    with stock 3.27s i was at 1550 at 60mph thats with a TR3650 trans tho, 01 and older cars are different. and on the highway its not that bad at 80mph its at about 2700, doesnt seem that high since my old car, and both my moms and my sisters car are at or over 3000 at 80.

    lowering suspension quesions

    i lowered mine about 2.5 inches(im guessing here, sportlines no isos) and i installed a set of C/C plates but never got it aligned and my fronts dont seem to really be wearing unevenly but they are already pretty worn anyway
