How to remove deposits on wheels?

Yeah, that is the inside. You are right about the inside of these wheels (polished 18's) not being "finished". My stock (silver bullitt 17's) are painted and I was able to EASILY wipe them clean in the spring after driving all winter on them. Guess many I will have to live with it?

How to remove deposits on wheels?

close up picture Picture of the deposits - this is 5,000 miles worth of regular summer driving - about six weeks. I have tried scrubbing like hell with dish soap; also have tried tar and bug remover with no luck. I think it must be brake dust, it is like this on both the rear wheels...

How to remove deposits on wheels?

I need help with some ideas here. I always take the wheels off my cars every oil change (5K miles, about 1.5 months) to clean the backsides and rotate them. Lately the rears have been building up with heavy deposits of crud that will not easily come off. I did wax them this spring but that did...

    trouble shifting

Does the clutch engage at the same height? It sounds like you might still have air in the system, and the clutch is not disengaging fully.

    My A/C smells like mildew

Yeah, cabin air filters are new to Mustang for 2005+. They are a simple DIY change, you have to pull the black plastic cowl cover on the passenger side to get to it.

    Transmission spacr plate/dust sheild

I don't know if you think $55 is too expensive or not, but I bought mine for that price from Modern Driveline (they specialize in 5 speed conversions for classic Mustangs and Fords). Do a google search and you should be able to find it.

Can I replace Radio with Ford Nav?

There is a long thread called "Factory Nav in a 2005 Stang" over on TMS. To give you the short, you need to have the radio programmed for your year/options and it will work. ANY car built before job 2, 2007 (also called 2007.5) will have an ERROR message everytime you use the nav. But it still...

    help had hip replaced

I don't know the exact # if you are looking for it to stay under a doctor restriction, but I will add this - Drive a couple, some are noticeably less than others. I think something changed from '06-'07 also... they have a different feel, from my experience.

Do you guys have manual transmission cars? I think that plug is for the auto shifter... At least that was my best guess when I came across it when I had the console top off.

    No oil fill cap!

I just popped my hood today for the 1st time in a month which was 3,000 miles. I opened it to check my fluids and wipe the engine down. I found the oil fill cap upside down on the fuse block cover.:mad::mad: I last had the oil changed at the dealer when I dropped the car off to have...

    Stock shifter knob questions

crank it down tight - it should be very close to being straight - I would be suprised if it is not. But, if not back it off till it is straight. You should have to back more than a 1/4 turn; the knob will still be plenty tight.
