    I haven't had to pull mine yet, and I've changed the clutch once with the T45 and then swapped transmission, bellhousing, and clutch.

    I second the Spintech Prostreets - I forever have strangers asking about my exhaust setup. However, they are extremely loud at WOT ... people usually hear me from about six blocks away :banana: Zero drone on the highway and surprisingly quiet when you want them to be.

    I actually have a year on my 7.5 and it hasn't bombed yet (getting replaced soon anyways). I was hoping it would break earlier so there were no reasons to wait on the 8.8!

    1 vote for waiting to get a GT or Cobra. Unless you can do every bit of the work yourself. (Labor might be expensive)

    Guys please read this

    I almost got ripped $725 for a complete 4.6L V8 out of a late model Mustang. I had Ebay, Paypal, and the credit card company by the balls until I got some of the money back! :notnice: Thinking about it still ticks me off.

    Honestly, they sound like they're too good to deal with me whenever I call. I really think that they have nice products, it's just the HORRIBLE FREAKING CUST. SERVICE! I should get a freaking t-shirt that says "Saleen employee < God" Doesn't everyone think their parts sales would increase...

    Me? Unfortunately not... Went from the 02 V6 to a 01 supercharged SOHC V8. I wish i could separate some of the costs a little more, but ended up picking up the front half of a wrecked GT for CHEAP. Ebay can be your best friend! I've seen some good deals on www.karkraft.com as well...

    Ok...flipped through a few of my receipts... I attached a spreadsheet mentioning the MAJOR items (and cost) that it took me to get my swap finished. This is definitely NOT 100% complete or the most cost efficient way to do this though... hopefully di0de will be able to help some more...
