    305 iroc's are dogs?

    I don't think they used 305's in 94, it would either be a 4.3 (mini-LT1 V8), or LT1 5.7. The 4.3 was 200 hp 245 lb-ft, and the 5.7 was 260 hp 330 lb-ft. It weighs about 4200 pounds. The 5.7 runs about 15.4 in the quarter. If he's got the 4.3 you'd prolly win. If he's got the 5.7...

    Just bought a 98, red w/ flames

    Well everything works on that and its quiet and the ride is much better and it has air conditioning thats hooked up and it looks nice, the 88 is primered right now. Anyway i would rather drive my 82 El Camino SS than either prolly, sorry.

    Side pipes can be sweet, but its hard to have enough ground clearence. Tell us what it sounds like with the glasspacks.

    Rust(not what you think)

    Best thing to do would be to soak it in salty water, after a week it should be rusty. I doubt the rust will fuse them together though since rust eats away from the metal.

    I seem to have a problem like this also, its a 98 manual with 2 1/4 true dual exhaust and cats, i dunno the mufflers. It seems to hesitate for a second and then the RPM's jump up. I am gonna replace the muffs what kind should i get?

    I am sorta in the same boat as you, I have a 98 3.8 and know that one day i will really want a V8 in it, but dunno everything involved, so far people have told me that if it came with a 4.6 as an option (96 up) stick with a 4.6 since the motor mounts bolt right up. I would rather have a 5.0 also...

    They are 15 inch. and the tires are Goodyear Eagles. On my El Camino I have Cooper Cobras with white lettering that look really good.
