    Gears wouldn't give him any advantage from a 50mph roll. It hurts, if anything. My buddies 93 has more power than mine, but I can stroke him on the highway with my stock gear vs. his 4.10's, and yes a Cobra is quite a bit faster than the GT. Brandon

    Throwout bearing constantly going bad.

    Mine does the same thing. When it started, I could keep it quiet by resting my foot on the clutch pedal, so I know it's the adjustment (lack thereof). Nowadays it is much much worse. Here's the question of the day. How do I adjust it? Brandon

    I've done it dozens of times without a fire, and have heard many mechanics recommend the same procedure. I don't know about you, but I would rather my motor burn a little bit of starter fluid (something designed to be burnt by a motor) than WD-40. Brandon

    I was coming back to offer an on topic response :D , and this pretty much somes it up. I would be comfortable in a 1000+hp twin turbo something if it had a good idle, no overheating issues, conventional style tranny, and you didn't need to be a bodybuilder to work the clutch in traffic. Brandon

    How the hell did you do that? Seriously, my car isn't near the 300 mark yet, has 315/40/18 Goodyear Eagle F1's, and I blow them off if I hit it too early in second gear. I know them being 18" doesn't help, but I would still think they should grip a lot better than stock considering they come...
