Aftermarket X-pipes (NOT ASKING WHICH TO BUY!!)

I posted the following last night on a similar thread: I just replaced my stock cat pipe with a MAC x-pipe in my '91LX. They fit great and the sound is awesome. It has two bungs for which to screw in your O2 sensors which you have to have. Some helpful hints: 1) You will need a long...

    MIL Eliminators

I just replaced my stock h-pipe with a MAC x-pipe in my '91LX. They fit great and the sound is awsome. It has two bungs for which to screw in your O2 sensors which you have to have. Some helpful hints: 1) You will need a long extension for your socket to reach the bolts on the headers...

Took 347 to dyno - running lean

Was the custom tuning done at the dyno or offline?

What is your fuel pressure set at?

Took 347 to dyno - running lean

Besides the lean condition tuning has been simple. It idles at 900 with no hunting or surging. About the only thing I've noticed is that when I pull up to a stop sign or red light the idle floats to about 1200 until I come to complete stop and then settles to 900 and holds. The computer and...

Took 347 to dyno - running lean

Before we did the "official" pull, they had me run thru the gears at half throttle. It was showing very lean so I increased the fuel pressure from 37 (vacuum line off and plugged) to 40. Then I did the pull in 4th. Today I'm going to bump the FP up to 46 and see if I notice it in the "seat...

Took 347 to dyno - running lean

Took my car to the dyno on Thursday. I'm running big time lean so I only did one pull. Also, because of the MSD box the RPMs were jumping all over so I couldn't get a very accurate torque number. Had I done another pull they said they could have changed the hookup for the RPM reading but since...

Just got back from the dyno. I'm running big time lean so I only did one pull. Also, because of the MSD box the RPMs were jumping all over so I couldn't get a very accurate torque number. Had I done another pull they said they could have changed the hookup for the RPM reading but since it was...

    which intake for a 347

Yes, our combo's are similar. You also have long tubes which I wish I had. Just saw that you got a Victor intake. I don't know if my NOS system will work on it. I'll let you know how it goes on the dyno tomorrow.

    which intake for a 347

I haven't been to the track yet. I've only had the 347 in for 2+ weeks. It came out of an 88GT (which is also for sale - custom 6 pt cage, full frame, line lock, race C-4, 3.73's, slicks & skinny's) which I bought from a friend. He would shift just before the stock rev limiter kicked in so he...

    which intake for a 347

I'm running the Performer RPM and am really happy with it. By the way, if you do go with this intake I have a NOS Big Shot system (up to 300 HP but to get 200 HP or more, an NOS-15805 fuel line assembly is needed) and timer delay box for sale. Kevin P.S. I'll be going to the dyno on...
