    Thanks for all the input guys! I have a cover on the distributor already. A buddy of mine calls it my car's 'shower cap'. :P The only thing I guess I was really worried about were any electrical connections around the firewall area where the water will go first.

    Yeah, I was planning on fabbing up some kind of screen to go in there when I install my exterior mounted tach. The majority of the water I could see running back and away from the opening, but some water will find its way into the engine and with my luck I think something will go wrong.

    Well, I had a few friends of mine look at it and it turns out the plug for the hood light and another cable from my alarm were resting on one of the edges the hood sits on. My stupidity :p Thanks for all the help! :SNSign:

    I'm going to post some pictures later, which I'm sure will help a ton, but its inches away from the latch and a couple inches too high on the drivers side. The hood seems twisted and a tad bit warped. I'm hoping that with it latched and pinned down it will fit good or at least sort of correct...

    I'm going to take some pictures of it tonite when I get home from work and I'll post them then. The rubber stoppers aren't getting in the way of it closing, the hood just seems to be a little bit warped or twisted in the middle section causing alignment issues at the front.
