    spline count on '01 Cobra rear?

    Wrong. 31 spline. The 99 Cobra got the 28 spline, then the 01 got the 31 spline. In 03 Ford increased the diamater of the overall shaft making it even stronger, but it remained 31 spline. So you need the 31-spline diff.

    There are stroker kits out there...dont' know anything about them though. Big bore's seem to be more popular. My rebiuld is underway.....keeping the stock forged crank and adding forged eagle rods and diamond pistons to the bottom end. SHM oil gears too.

    what kind of times do 99 cobras run?

    If you race someone on the street and catch them at the optimum RPM, then I can see that. But the launch is most of the reason the 99-01 Cobra's get mid/high 13's at the track (IRS). Put a solid axle in the car and it will immediatly go down to low 13's stock.
