    for those who have subs....

I have one JL 10W3v2 and it pounds pretty good. A buddy of mine has a 15" Audiobahn and it's rediculously loud. When he has it halfway my whole face vibrates from the bass. I would say that a 12" should be more then enough. Just make sure the amp you're powering it with is enough for the setup.

    Tailpipe Comparisons

Yea, I bought the whole cat-back plus the off-road x pipe. You can buy the tubes from the mufflers back off of MAC's website but I don't know if they'd bolt up to the system youve got.

    Tailpipe Comparisons

I've spent hours trying to get mine properly adjusted and they're still a bit off. Not too noticeable, but I know they are so it drives me crazy! I just need to set aside some time to make them 100%. Georgie, I bought my cat-back from a place called The Mustang Shop up here in Canada. Here's...

    Trade for TTop?

Unless you really want a T-Top car, I'd probably just keep the one you've got. You've put some work into it and no the history of it, so as long as you like it I say keep it!:nice:

    Tailpipe Comparisons

The MAC ones I've got are stainless steel, very shiny when polished and are stainless from the bend right over the rear axle. The only downside I have with them are that the tail pipe and tube coming from the mufflers are two seperate pieces and there is a big ugly clamp that attaches them. I've...

    Trade for TTop?

I heard the biggest downside with owning a T-Top is the roof leaking, but if the weatherstrip has been replaced, it should be fine. Other than the few rust spots, what is the body like?

    Quick smog pump question

Find a bolt the correct size, slather it in loctite and plug it in. Worked for me! As for the belt size, do a search, there has been diagrams posted on here before that will tell you what you need for your set-up.

    brakes

Yea, make sure the master cylinder was bench bled before installation.

    brakes

Well youve definitely got air in your system. Re-bleed the brakes and check again. A leaky power brake booster wont cause your pedal to be spongy but will make it harder for you to apply the brakes.

    Cleaning rims...

Ok cool, thats the stuff I was looking at, I guess I'll pick up a bottle of it.

    Cleaning rims...

I've got some dirty pony 4 lugs and was wondering what is the best way to clean them? They've covered in brake dust and grime. Do those rim cleaners that are sold in the spray bottles such as Meguiar's work well?

    Paint hows it look

Looks amazing, great job! The ONLY thing I would've changed is that I would've had the stripes go all the way down in the front and not end at the bumper. Other than that, pretty much I want to do with my car.

    Stereo recommendation

Agreed with Pioneer. They make quality receivers at a good price. Panasonic is pretty good as well.

Pics of some newly painted parts!! woohoo

They look good, I like them! I painted my stock intake and valve covers with New Ford Gray, and I can say I like yours better(although I did a pretty crappy job of them).

    Installing MAC cat-back...

Well I installed it today, went on beautifully once I got the old system pulled out(sheathed a header stud, took us a while to get that out). I love the sound. It's fairly low key at idle, but when I step on it, it screams. Quite a noticeable increase in power as well. All I can say is that I'm...

Baseball card in bike spokes sound

If it's only under acceleration than I would second the exhaust leak idea. Sounds like your headers may have a leak. When I changed my headers on my old exhaust the bolts kept backing off and I blew a couple gaskets that way, made a sort of ticking noise.

    serpentine belt???

Just go to a parts store and tell them you need a belt for a '91 Mustang with A/C. I don't think the underdrive pulley will make a difference.

    Installing MAC cat-back...

The hangers that are for the tailpipes, the L-shaped bracket with the threaded sleeve, do those just fit into the rubbers on the stock hangers? I'm wondering if I need to buy new rubbers for the tailpipes or just for the mufflers.
