    in terms of HP or TQ? there have been dyno studies done where the longtubes will only make 2-3more HP, but make like 30ft/tq or better throughout the RPM range.

    I switched from 1 5/8 shortie headers to 1 3/4 BBK long tubes. i feel that i gained more TQ and top end with the long tubes. perhaps the shorties were too small primary wise for my setup too though!

    thanks for the help, sweet88. i hope that this is an easy project... i hate complictated things. on a good note, the radiator already has the hoses on it. my electric fan would run all the time in the summer, so im hoping that this bad boy will do the trick to keep it nice and cool!

    Can't decide which gauge

    you can run one of those $45 AF gauges, but when you do it, you should have a wideband and run the "output" to the gauge, so its acurate and not just a crappy reading from the o2 sensor.

    if you plan on boost: 9.0:1 would be great. it might be down a few ponies NA, but will work tons better on boost.

    what size MAF do you have? if its a 75, the 80s work better in the fenderwell. but to tell ya the truth.... thats not your problem. cobra intake ported is a nice option and should get you over the 300 mark.

    I just picked up the universal afco radiator and want to install it. since its 2nd hand, there were no directions, but the afco tech line said it is an easy install. anyone install one and what is involved? thanks

    first, take off CAPS LOCK. second, see what ed says. like Mike was sayin, i hope that you used the upgraded springs. if you didnt you might as well have 4 toes on one foot: you can get by, but damn, would it be nice to have it done right the first time?

    felpro 10111 for a NA/nitrous car or 10112 for a blower car.

    if its a dry kit, it should be no problem. both run off the same setup, the only thing that might be different is the WOT switch.
