    Is this Cobra worth it?

8K easily, maybe more if the seller is willing to hold out and has all the stock parts. That is assuming your definition of "pristine" means flawless body and paint, good matching tires, no leaks, immaculate interior, spotless engine bay, etc. Any flaws should be used to haggle the price down.

Updated PICS of my car, new toys added, changes made....56K WARNING

Awesome ride. :flag: Just curious, what is the advantage to running cutouts when you already have dumps? From the pics the cutouts only look to be about 2ft in front of the pipe exits. .

    Anyone tried this Ebay radiator?

Can't say about the radiator but I will never buy from DRP again. After a month of BS and ignorant C/S I had to do a paypal complaint in order for those a holes to ship my clutch. :notnice:

    alignment????

If you don't have the CC plates they won't be able to get the camber back to within specs and you'll start to eat up your front tires. There is no adjustment in the factory plates.

Aftermarket Wheels Make my Brakes Squeak!

Who put the wheels back on the car, you or the tire shop? It sounds like somebody overdid it with an impact gun, possibly warping your rotors. Having any front end vibration?

I give up on my 5.0

Dude, be honest. How do you REALLY feel? Let it all out, LOL

Snipers Kill Insurgent, Recover Marine Sniper Rifle!

The weapon should have never fallen into enemy hands in the first place. Against their team leader's objections, the group of 4 was repeatedly sent out to the same rooftop OP again and again. This gave the enemy all the advantage they needed to carry out their plans. Most disturbing is how...

Brke Booster Upgrade for Fox Brake Conversion

$25 junkyard 96 V6 booster here, no issues and no firewall bashing. Make sure your master cylinder has been properly bench bled or the booster won't make any difference. Also the prop valve should be adjusted so the front locks up just before the rears. When your doing a custom job like this...

    New Engine Crank Seal Leaking??

If the whole oil pan is soaked how do they know where the leak is coming from? What about the oil pan gasket? Oil filter gasket? Dipstick tube? I would recommend giving it a thorough cleaning and then running it before checking for any leaks. You want to be sure before you let somebody go...

    Suspension Upgrades and Brakes Help

I would recommend tightening up that tired chasis before doing anything else (assuming it is still stock, u didn't say  ). Phase I: Full length weld in subframe connectors 2 or 4 point k-member brace Strut tower brace New sway bar and end link bushings Phase II...

pics of my friend mikes 06 gt shelby look-alike

Well said. I would not call it "posing" if you have the power to back up the badging. We (mustang community) shouldn't have to worry about any ricers beating this car and then running off to the import forums talking smack that they just killed a new Shelby. :nonono:

    97 Cobra all tore up

Are you sure the crank is toast? That is probably the finest component of these engines, capable of supporting some serious HP. I would think the block and/or a piston would let go before the crank.

Not 5.0 but some good SRVidz video! HCI Auto 98 Z28 vs 6.0 Cammed LS1 88 IROC!

Nice vid, the Z sounded pretty mean. I bet that Iroc surprises more than a few people on the street, thinking they will have an easy kill against an old beat up 305 TPI. :D

Where is your tax dollar...HAHAHA (pics of gear)

LOL this post is hilarious. The first time I've seen a soldier complain about having too expensive gear. Maybe you'd like to deploy with an old vietnam steel pot, M-16A1, moldy surplus jungle boots, and no IBA instead? BTW Iraq and Afghanistan do have a winter and it can get colder than a...

Rear brake setup--drum (ranger) or disk (sn95)?

Umm, not exactly. If you decide to go back to fox length axles later you will have to ditch the SN-95 bracketry and go with something like the north racecars brackets. This is why it's best to decide what you want to run the first time so you aren't buying new parts over again.

Brake tech 95 to 99 cobra set up on FOX mustang

    1) You will need the cobra specific brackets to run the cobra calipers. 2) You will need SN-95 axles to use that hardware. Fox length axles won't work.

    Dealer overfills on oil change

I have a similar story with another lousy dealership. I take my old GT in to have the AODE serviced. I get the car back and not only is the exhaust crooked, the shifter console will not fit properly. It doesn't snap closed on one side. Me: "Hi, I just got my car back and the exhaust is...

    engine code

You will need to pull the intake in order to access the two IMRCs. They get gummed up after awhile, causing power loss and CELs like yours. Use the search feature and you should be able to find a more specific writeup on how it's done. An easy weekend project if you have any kind of mechanical...

    anyone deal with this company?

Good company, no regrets. Would buy from again. :flag: But...... You could DIY a nice brake setup for a lot less than $1,900. I pieced together a GT PBR kit for about 1/2 that.
