Car wont fire -- GOING TO CRY

Did you install new heads / rockers / cam, etc? I recently had a similiar problem, turned out I had the valves adjusted too tight and had zero compression. The starter would just turn the motor over and that was it.

    help on exhaust!!!!!!!

If you have not already converted over to dual exhaust you will need a double hump crossmember and the x or h pipe of your choice to make it work. Do a search and you'll find hundreds of threads on exhaust preferences.

who has best price on m2300k brake conversion

+1 There are much better options in 2006 than when the overpriced M2300K originally came out. Don't waste your $$

Passenger Rear brake problem with new powerslot rotors

Did you use the proper rotation tool when collapsing the piston to install the new pads? Did the piston and / or bore show any sign of damage or wear? My guess is the caliper is toast, but that's not too expensive to replace if you have a useable core. Better to do something now before that old...

Suspension gurus: Need help with uneven tire wear

+1 for the maximum motorsports plates. A few install tips.... 1) measure twice, drill once when creating the 4th bolt hole. It takes more time, but the 4 bolt design is superior to the 3 bolt versions. The MM instructions are awesome, follow them closely. 2) don't slam that hood down the...

    5lug REAR disc conversion

It sounds like you are making this more complicated than it is. All the information you need is out there, you just need to search for it. A little basic math will tell you everything, before buying any parts. For instance: 1) Know what you are starting with, ie. stock fox length axles/ponys...

    Longtube Headers: Need some help.

I just did BBK LTs with a BBK catted H. I already had the tranny out to do the clutch so it made it a lot easier. I don't know if I would have had the patiece otherwise. The drivers side went in no prob, but I had to jack the motor up to get the passenger side on. I actually have easier access...

How to Put New Hatch Window Trim On?

LOL, since when is saving money a bad thing? Your 3rd brake light didn't come stock with "rice eater" on it either, but yet there it is  . I for one can't see spending over 100 bills extra just to have "mustang" on my nice new quarter windows for the benefit of the .00001 percent of the...

    New car, new mods?

Do yourself a favor and get a ford service manual from helminc.com. Your typical haynes or chiltons manual pales in comparison. Also don't neglect your basic wear parts if they need attention- these cars are getting old. It doesn't make much sense to pony up for a nice new shiny intake when your...

4 lugs to 5 conversion question

Do yourself a favor and get some SN-95 ball joints and press them into your control arms. It's easy to do while you have everything out and you won't have to slap washers or spacers on your old stuff in order to make it work. Autozone loans the press tool for a deposit. I would go with the...

How to Put New Hatch Window Trim On?

The trim is not replaceable, as stated above. Your options are pretty much limited to: 1) Stick on cover up trim 2) Sand and paint 3) New quarter windows I guess it comes down to your budget. If you go cheap, it will show. If you can live with it, go for it. :flag:

Sign the petition against Ford!!! (now illegal to have ford/mustang/etc in shop name)

Gay....... I wonder if all the shareholders know they are pouring $$ down the toilet picking on mom and pop garages and parts shops. What a crock. :notnice:

    HP gains with cams

I think in part I they worked over the intake and put on some IMRC deletes. I would think their gains with the cams would be even less with a stock intake setup.

Tokico Illumina 5-Way Adjustable shocks and struts settings for the Drag Strip

I would go full soft with the shocks and medium with the struts as a starting point. It should be easy to tell after a pass or 2 if you are getting better weight transfer.

Setting up rockers / valve lash (yeah another one lol)

First, thanks for looking in. I have recently completed a head, intake, rockers, and clutch swap on my 92 GT. The mustang gods have decided to kick me in the nuts and not allow the car to start up on the first go :owned: . The starter turns the motor over but I get no combustion except for a...
