    Paint color

A good way to find paint colors is to look at new cars and see which ones you like. And you can see how the whole car looks in the sun and shade, and not at a tiny sample. Thats the way I decided. My Ford is painted a Dodge blue.

    C4 tranny question

Did Ford shorten the shifter linkage that is attached to the C4 between years on the Mustang II? I noticed after I installed a rebuilt tranny I got from a II parts car that the inside shifter didn't match up to where Drive, Neutral, Park, etc should be. The new throw pattern seems to be...

Another professional student. Have CADD/Tech. Illustrator degree. 6 classes away from Bachelor of Pro. Arts. Going into Computer Integrated Design next year. Plus plans for more after that. Right now I'm not doing any classes, so I'm working as a draftperson at a playground manufacturer (I...

    Stumpy's Traction Bars

Don't we have staggard shocks? From the picture it looks like he has them both set up for the back, or am I looking at that wrong? I just found this http://www.ssmliftbars.com/products.asp?id=201780&page=2&showsite=true but I would probably trust Stumpy more then a company is around, isn't...

    raising the Rear end

I put an extra leafspring on each side from a parts car I had. It raised the rear-end at least an inch (probably more but I can't remember). It doesn't sag near as bad. But also, the car has no tendency to squat when you step on it anymore so no weight gets transferred to the back.... not too...

    Pictures of your II's

EDIT: Yep, my image-host is a peice of crap. So just use the homepage http://www.geocities.com/5946place/car.html As for music: "Acid Rain" by Liquid Tension Experiment (no lyrics even) Other then that the only things that come to mind are Soilwork and In Flames because their fast and hard...

    Air bag suspension

I remember reading in some car magazine a few years ago (Hot Rod?) that was going in rides in a bunch of cars with air-bag suspension and interviewing the owners on whether they like them, the pros and cons, etc. I don't remember much, but the one thing that stuck out in my mind was that they...

    S n o w

I pity anyone who actually has to drive their Mustang in the snow. Just taking the car out of the garage so I can pull it in the right way to work under the hood was hard enough. I couldn't imagine having to drive anywhere. The damn tires were spinning in the driveway when I was idling...

    It's our favorite celebrity's birthday!

I'll second Wart. Those things are massive. In addition to the mags, I'm pretty sure she has a playboy video too... something about body paint is ringing a bell, but that was quite a number of years ago... way before I was 18 :nono: So how is she looking now anyways? The last time I saw her...

    trannie cooler

I just put one in the Mustang. I haven't driven the car yet (well 10 minutes doesn't really count). If you do any racing or put in a high-stall converter you should probably get one. Any sort of brake-stand will increase tranny temp a lot, so to be on the safe side a tranny cooler is a good...

    Big Brakes Are Here

Rear disc kits do exist. http://mpbrakes.com/reardisc.htm http://www.dpo.uab.edu/~bmclean/pages/m2_faq.htm#upgrade4 http://www.mustangii.org/tech/tipsntricks/4wheeldisk/ But as pointed out, why spend that money when the front does 70% of the stopping. Plus trying to get or make a kit that...

    Blue/white Cobra help needed

The easiest wasy would probably be to have someone send you pics in digital form. You can then open an account at Future Shop, London Drugs, Best Buy, etc and load the pictures. Get them 48 hour developed and pick them up. That being said. I have pictures of the passenger side and front in...

    Canadian Auburn Gear

I don't know if anybody cares or not, but it seems that Mopac Auto Supply has got a pretty good deal on Auburn Gears for the 8". Well at least in the Calgary store they did anyway. It came out to $500 something (I'll double check when I get mine tomorrow). Last year around the same time I was...
