    i have a feeling the BOV is very slightly venting when you hear that sound. high pressure air flying through a tiny opening makes high pitch noises.

    kinda sounds like a really small air leak is making a whistle sound. seems like it only happens at the higher rpm/boost.

    they are accurate as long as you calibrate them every so often and place them close to the engine. they are more accurate than the tail pipe sniffers the use on dynos.

    6 bolt or 8 bolt flywheel?

    if you have the stock 03 crankshaft (Romeo engine) , you should have a 6 bolt. if you have a Cobra crankshaft or a Windsor engine, you have an 8 bolt.

    Trickflow designed that cam to work with their new heads. no notching will be needed unless you use stock heads.

    those scan tools estimate the gas usage in real time. so yes, you may be getting 25mpg in the city for a very short time. but as soon as you accelerate or stop, it will instantly drop.

    usually when a fuel pump is bad, it doesn't work at all. but turning the key, you should here the fuel pump if it was working. when did you last change the fuel filter? did you often let the tank get down to 1/8th?

    i'd go with heads/cams. i know the heads weren't on your list, but better airflow will be less stressful on the engine than increased boost pressure.
