Who makes vinyl lemans stripes for our cars?

Yeah, i was thinking the hood scoop would cause problems with vinyl. It would have to be cut just for my hood scoop otherwise it would look like garbage. In on the fence big time, every other car ive seen with them looks good, but i just dont know if i want them on mine. I started taping them...

who's running a aluminum rad & electric fan

A pusher fan is much less efficient than a puller. You would need a much bigger pusher than a puller to accomplish the same thing. Also, like mdjay said, it blocks airflow on the highway when the fan doesnt do anything anyway. A pusher is only good for someone who just doesnt have room for a...

what determines the correct thermostat for your engine?

I have a rebuilt slightly warmed up engine (289) in my 65. I couldnt get to car cool enough with a 180 and a stock rad. I switched to calibrated 160 from Mr. Gasket and still ran hot. So I got a griffin aluminum and problem solved. My 160' tstat has proven to work well, it is definately not...

Im sure this has been covered a bazillion times but when I searched, i couldnt find an answer. I was wondering what the pros and cons are to running without a vacuum advance and just running a locked out full advance all the time. I know alot of guys do this. What are the pros and cons to...

Should this combination keep me cool?

I went the expensive route on my 65. 440.00 dollar griffin aluminum radiator and a 16" SPAL Slimline fan at 191.00 dollars. But you will have more options on a 69 with more side to side room. But I cant even get the car to think of breaking the 160' temp of the t-stat on a 90' day sitting at...

    Speedo gear install

well it doesnt really matter about the tires anyway because the white gear is NOT exactly correct for 3.73's anyway so your speedo is gonna be off a little bit, i think mine is off 5-7 mph and i have stock height tires.

    o2 Sensors

You need the p/n 13127 ones. they are 69.88 at advance auto parts or you can buy them from www.partsamerica.com for the same price. The Bosch ones are the way to go IMO, but if you want the ford motorcraft originals here is a link: http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=DY703+01...

Has anyone had a collapsed lifter?

well have you recently done anything with the rockers? replaced them or something? or you could just see if something loosened up under there. you can try removing the valve covers and having someone crank the car with the coil wire removed and see if anything looks out of whack. if you havent...
