    Hey Pete, Since you've had these on a few cars already, any reports of too much restriction? I contacted Scott Drake a few years ago about making one of these for the 67'-69' cars since so many folks have gone to 2 1/2" pipe over the years and they said they wouldn't even consider it for this...

    Well, yes and no. I gave up on having some crafted and after several discussions with other folks in the same boat it seemed that the best alternative was to cut the original tips right below the Y and weld on a 2 1/2 to oval stainless transition to make them fit and retain the original look...

    Yeah I did notice that, odd since common sense would tell you to put the spring on the hole closest to the frame it connects to and not to cross it over the rod, go figure. I'll have to confirm what the crossmember looks like tomorrow and go from there. I notice they don't seem to repro that...

    I think that is a major part of the issue, I think they made a home brewed crossmember for that 4spd so there is no bracket to slip it into. Is the bracket the part that sticks out at the bottom of the pic you posted? I wonder if he can just get the proper crossmember and if it will fit the...
