    i've done this before, more than once... (actually more than twice, lol)... my best advice to you is to get the window all the way up, remove the speaker, and go in that way to remove the motor.

    do you also smell it inside your car, while driving? if so, check to see that the heater core is not leaking...

    did you get this fixed yet? if not, when you pull the light switch on, if you pull it slowly, is there a point in between where the dash lights will come on? also, when the dash lights are out, are the tail lights out also?

    i've really got no explanation for it... but i'm serious. and i've never gotten below 27 with in-town driving with this car. i've got a thunderbird with a 3.8 and even it only gets 27-29 highway. :shrug:

    i'd suggest the same as was suggested above... remove the door panel and check the track. it's probably slipped off.

    i've got bbk on my 5.0, so its all i'm acquainted with; however, it's given me a small, though noticeable, increase in horsepower... and when you pop the hood that chrome sure looks nice.
