    spark plugs

After I installed the supercharger I had some slight detonation problems, but a set of Denso Irridium plugs took care of that. I was running the stock E7 heads then. Last year I installed Trick Flow alu heads and went with a set of NGK copper plugs instead of the Denso plugs and they seem to...

Photos of shorty antennas on a FOX

Not the best pics for antenna watching but these are the only two I could find of mine after I installed my shorty antenna. Not sure how long it is but I suppose you get an idea from the pics. Got it from 5.0 Resto.

    Upper Control Arm Truths...

+1 Though I do believe the torque arm may create some ground clearance problems for many street driven cars, depending on how the roads are in your area. I am going to go with a panhard bar when time and money permits, but this being a daily driver I think I'll stop there.

    2011 GT350

+1 IRS or live axle? If it comes with a live axle, that kind of styling and approx $63,000 on the price tag then its just ludicrous. :notnice:

Eibach suspension, Once again I need some help on this

The second set of end links I received were shorter than the originals, but I dont remember how much shorter. I do remember though that I had to shorten the sleeve on the second set because when I tried to install it the first time the threads did not protrude long enough to get the nut on...

Eibach suspension, Once again I need some help on this

I had the same problem last year. The end links in the anti-roll kit were way too short. Took some pics and sent them to Eibach and they sent me a set with longer end links - which turned out to be just long enough, but only just! They didnt really have any good explanation why the first...

headlight aiming help and 9004 to 9007 questions

They won't fit. I have tried. Had to replace the RH bulb not long ago and the guy sold me the wrong one - 9007 instead of 9004. Took me forever to realise it wasnt me being an idiot but the wrong bulb  I am sure its possible to mod the socket to fit, but honestly I dont see...

What's the best choice for upper/lower control arms?

Mustang5L5 may very well correct me on this one but when I swapped my stock UCAs last year the kit I bought from MM (with the same part number as you listed) included the axel bushings - I believe... However, unless your upper control arm axel bushings have been replaced within say...

What's the best choice for upper/lower control arms?

Good choice! I am running the same parts and like everyone else here with the same set up I am very pleased with it. And another reason to go with MM is that suspension stuff can addictive hence if you later on decide to do further mods then you are better off getting everything from one...

AFR heads and header bolt help

I will never ever install a set of headers again and not using these. Stage 8 Locking Fasteners 8913A - Stage 8 Locking Header Bolt Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com Some may think its expensive but they work! And can be reused infinitely.. Life is too short to deal with leaking headers.

    More friggin codes

I have an in-car fuel pressure gauge and a vacuum/boost gauge. My fuel pressure is slightly higher now than it used to be before these problems started (at least I think so - its in the low/mid 40's depending on idle rpms). And it goes up whenever the engine starts to loose power/hesitate...

    Starter problem

I ended up replacing mine with a new Powermaster ministarter. End of problem. I believe Ford changed starters in 91 or 92 - the new starters being much smaller. However, they also decided to stop using 9/16 head bolts with the new starters and going with 1/2 head bolts instead. If I ever...

    More friggin codes

Ok, so I fixed the vacuum leak (PCV hose had jumped out of the lower intake) and code 91 has disappeared. The car has a much better cold idle now, though not as good as I would like but that may have something to do with running 30 lbs/hr injectors. Maybe. Anyhow, I let it idle for a...

    More friggin codes

liljoe, Thanks your explanation, thats good to know! :nice: I have found one vacuum leak which perhaps may be the reason for code 91 and the idling problems. Will try to fix it tomorrow and see what happens then...

    More friggin codes

Thanks yours - I am also starting to believe I might have a vacuum leak somewhere, though I cant for the life of me figure out where it may be... Anyhow, do you have any thoughts on how come these other codes just disappeared? And that I can measure resistance on ACT lt grn/pnk to ground...

    More friggin codes

jrichker, This has been a confusing and frustrating day. I started off with cleaning and adjusting the contacts in the 10 pin connectors. Then I tried to measure resistance between the lt grn/pink wire and ground - and couldnt get any results. I tried measuring both at the sensor...
