    LRS "Micro-Click" Firewall Adjuster...

I just ordered one of these to go with a new OEM Ford cable to replace a POS stretched BBK cable. When I ordered it, I thought it was the Fiore, but now I'm not too sure. Anyone used one of these? Is it a good match for a Ford OEM cable? I picked up the $35 FRPP cable/fork kit from Summit...

Trying to put on my winter tires...summer rims are stuck to the drum in the rear.

Wooohoo...I got them!! I got a big ole piece of 2 x 4, and stood it up against the rims back edge and just whaled on it with all my might and the sledge for a couple minutes...and bam..they came off. It's funny, this year when I put the new brakes on the front, I greased the inside of the rim...

Trying to put on my winter tires...summer rims are stuck to the drum in the rear.

I have a prybar, but not one large enough for that. I have been whaling on the rubber and both are still stuck solid. I've kicked the ***** out of it as well, and it simply isn't working. I mean, I've already done some dropping the clutch @ like 3K with the lug nuts barely snug..and nothing.

Trying to put on my winter tires...summer rims are stuck to the drum in the rear.

Thanks for all the replies. I've done pretty much everything people have suggested and I'm getting nowhere. I did give it hard whacks from behind with a mini sledge...still no go.

Trying to put on my winter tires...summer rims are stuck to the drum in the rear.

Thanks...tried both those too. I just went out and kicked them so hard I think I ****ed up my foot....lol. Here's a thought...shouldn't the drum come right off with the rims if it's stuck? I'd hate ot take this to a shop for this, but even if I did I'm not sure what else they could do...

Trying to put on my winter tires...summer rims are stuck to the drum in the rear.

I'm trying to put my winter set of tires on my '92 GT (stock 16 x 7 "pony" rims with Blizzaks), but my summer rims in the rear have become one with the drums. I've tried so far... Spraying WD40 all around the rim/drum seam, and into the lug holes Letting the car drop quickly a couple of...

    urethane motor mount questions

Yeah, I heard the Prothane's raise the motor a bit, and the ES's lower it. I went with the Prothanes because they were cheaper, and I have more room above the motor, so raising it a bit won't hurt anything. I already have the ES tranny mount installed, and I picked up a set of SS ARP...

    urethane motor mount questions

I just got the Prothane's from Summit, and they didn't have the nuts included...am I missing them? I bought new ARP SS bolts for the mount to block...couldn't find the nuts anywhere...

    Quick radiator cap question...

Yeah, I'm pretty psyched to get it in. I'm doing a whole cooling system upgrade, and I'm pairing it with the Ramcharger fan and some other goodies. Thanks for all the help guys...

    Quick radiator cap question...

Thanks for the info. The Griffin 31 x 19" I have I would consider a " good aftermarket radiator", and it's 100% aluminum, so I'm assuming the 17lb cap should be fine? What are the advantages to raising the pressure and boiling point?

    Quick radiator cap question...

I'm in the process of ordering a radiator cap for my Griffin 31 x 19, and I had a quick question. I know the stock cap is a 16lb cap, but the one I'm looking at is a 17lb unit. My question is would the extra 1psi make a difference in anything? My guess is no. This is the cap in question...

Elec. fan worth the $ for HP gains?

You can pick up a dual 11" Ramcharger fan for $89 shippied. Add to that about $10-$20 in wiring supplies, and you have a awesome setup that won't break the bank. Here's the fan without wiring harness...

change to thinner oil = less oil pressure??

Thinner oil will be easier to pump, hence lower pressure. This is why your oil pressure starts high, and then drops a bit once it heats up to operating temps and thins out... How much lower is it dropping?

    low coolant at idle

You probably just need to top off the recovery tank. When the car is cold, the coolant gets pulled back into the radiator, and drops the level in the recovery tank where the sensor is. Once you are up to operating temperature, the level rises and the light goes out.

Anyone have experience with the "reverse glow" gauge faces?

Only ones I could find listed anywhere were the 87-89's... :( I bet someone on Egay has 'em, but I'll pass on that. I already ordered the others anyhow. I don't really like the center circle on the ones I ordered, but at the same time I do like the different font used for the numbers. On...
