    Need Tires... Which Ones/ and from Where?

    I got Nitto 555's in 275/40-17 at all 4 corners about a week ago. Paid $182 each for them mounted and balanced w/valve stems at a local Discount tire. Only crappy thing is, I've only put about 40 miles on them because there hasn't been any dry weather yet. :notnice: Damn NW Washington. :nonono:

    Thanks for your help everyone. Looks like I just wasted $30 on tranny fluid. I'll be heading to the auto parts store to pick up some Havoline Dexron III tonight. :nice:

    I have a quart pump, but 3.4 quarts is wrong. I'm definitley not going to put LESS fluid in it than both Ford and Tremec say. I guess I'll have to drain a little out. Anybody else have this happen to them?

    Hasn't anybody with an '01 or newer 5-speed car ever changed their transmission fluid? I put the rest of the 5th quart in, and that filled it to the fill hole. Is this much fluid going to hurt anything?

    I decided to change my transmission fluid tonight, but it seems to be taking more fluid than both Tremec and Ford say. The TR-3650 service manual and my car's owner's manual both say that it holds 3.8L (4.0 Qts). I bought 5 just in case. As of now, I have about 4.5 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic...

    The X2 DOES lower your car more, I just don't know exactly how much. Look at what it does. It locates the entire spindle assembly further away (up) from the control arm, thus, raising where the wheel is located (further up into the fender). I really don't think that they offer that much in...

    I got a Lawyer for us on the Tremec 3650

    I don't have a problem as of now, but I might be willing to make one, as long as I'd be helping out fellow Stangers. Do you think speed-shifting 2nd on every shift would help my trans along? Seriously, though, it never really grinds. But when it's cold, the shift into 2nd acts like it "wants"...
