    you shold be able to just swap it over. Do not mess with it unless you have an idle problem. The idle voltage should be .0997-.999v

    If you have a muffler shop nearby, stop and ask how much it wold be for them to break loose and tighten back up. Once you round it off, sounds like you will not have the tools to complete. Also get a piece of pipe to put on the end of the drive so you can get more leverage.

    well other than the temps, you're about as close to sea level as anyone or below. You think that air in Canada will give you that 10 extra mph? :shrug: I don't either. This is probably close to his hp numbers as well.

    drop the pan and drain like normal. disconnect the battery if you know how to turn the engime over by hand or bump the engine until you can access the drain plug in the converter. You have to remove the dust cover to see this. It will probably be hard to break loose. Sometimes it takes a few...

    I would put some type of turndown tips( you will not see them) back there. On Fox body GTs the exaust was turned down right behind the bumper cover and some of those have exaust marks. I had an 89 Convertable Gt, White , and never saw a mark from exaust. I guess it is possible. I keep cars clean...

    Without seeing the car in person, I would say the transmission is on its way out. I would never put anything but regular Cheap, ( I like Havoline) type F trans fluid in a trans that old. I would drain again, drain the tq converter, install another new filter( did a spring and a ball come out...

    I asked because some people do not like turndowns under a car. I like that much better than side exaust and if you aren't going to see it , I would just put the turndowns on the mufflers. You still can go back farther if you like and turn down behind the bumper cover.

    I don't think you can do it with the stock TB and plenum and shorties even with cams. it will be close but probably 5-10 short.

    who has ever had a leak around the shifter base?? If you do, you may have a little to much fluid in there.
