    How to tell a real 65-66 GT from a clone?

    They would have to be pretty good to punch the right stuff into the buck tag and weld in new floors the way they need to be for the muffler hangers . They would also have to put in those exaust hanger pieces through the rear frame rail . I guess you could do that with the trunk floors taken out...

    The best way is if it has a buck tag it will have a P-10 on it for GT. These are factory GT's . There are some other things that I have found that are hard to replicate that have to do with the exaust hangers and the floor boards . But the P-10 is the easy one to spot all with all the other...

    well I have 2 holes that are possible. One next to were the emergency brake handle goes through the firewall and another to the right on the trans tunnel. not sure which one is correct. whould it be diffrent for a 4 speed car to a 3 speed or auto car ?

    Is This Car a GT

    There are some other good one's such as when you turn the fog lights on the tail lights should light up also. There should be rear hanger bolts that are part of the frame in the back for the duel exaust. The best way is if there is a body buck tag that should have a GT code on it that code...
