    First thing to look at, see if the front side of the motor (timing cover, etc) and surrounding accessories has a white colored oxidization look to it. A coolant leak from a water pump or thermostat housing can leak slowly and evaporate off of the hot surfaces it touches before hitting the ground...

    If a transmission's tolerances, seals, bearings, etc was designed and tested around a specified fluid, ATF in this case, your only going to shorten duty life, hinder performance and end up with a leaking and/or broken piece of crap transmission if you run gear oil... My question is this...

    Assuming your running the Vortech supplied crank pulley, the 3.33 blower pulley will definitely not yield 8psi... That combo gives me almost 7psi through a GT40 headed, stock cammed, 302 so there is no way it would get you anywhere near 8psi..

    Understandable. 370-380 whp is a pretty good ride. You'd prolly still be giddy like a school girl today if you rode in my 34psi, 1000+ hp, mid six second street car :D

    Check your thermostat housing, the water neck.. I had one crack and didn't know it as the coolant would immediately hit hot metal and evaporate.

    Ya. I know the feeling. Last night, I was cruising.. about 135mph in 2nd gear... I pulled up next to a Nextel Cup car, he thought he was gonna smoke me, then I dropped it to 1st... wheelied and rolled smoke off the rear tires at the same time and blew by him... My dad **** his pants... for 7...
