    I am replacing an old, worn set of Granada swap brakes on my ’70. My question is about the caliper hardware and spring. Do those go on dry? Or should I put some sort of lubrication on it so the caliper slides back and forth easier? If so, what is the best lub to use? I am asking this...

    I kinda think they look cooler without the center caps. I like it. I think old iron look better when you can see the lug nuts.

    On mine, the axels and housing were fine, everything else disintegrated. but, it was a hellava ride!! Damn, I miss that truck.

    Don't feel bad, you aren't the only one to blow a lightning rear. i blew my '95 lightning rear end when i was showing off (of course) on new years eve '00, cost me $1,200 in parts alone........

    when you take your starter off, be sure to check the teeth of the flywheel, and make sure they [the starter] haven't been eating each other up...

    I'm going to have to vote for Missouri on having some of, if not the worst roads....for example, they are rebuilding the Grandview triangle and literally already they have had to cut out and patch sections of a bridge/entrance point that is BRAND NEW, built early this spring.

    I reminds me of the time a few years ago I blew up the rear end in my '95 lightning showing off to some friends at a stoplight on new years eve...all i did was pwr brake (hold the brake and hit the gas) but this time all i heard was BANG and then zzZZZzzzZZZZzzzzzz but no go!! We just pushed it...
