    it will spin harder with all the extra friction. as long as the rings are gapped correctly and the bearings are correct you should be ok.

    thats something you will have to calculate yourself. buy an adjustable and work it out, just guessing will get you a prematurely worn out valvetrain.

    remember the sport box is not intended for future additions. It is supposed to be an all inclusive street suspension system, the starter box is the first step in a race suspension.

    look at the block casting # near the starter to determine the decade, It will look something like this... D2AE-6015-AA, which translates this way. All blocks are 6015 D would be the decade, B=50s, C=60s, D=70s, E=80s, F= 90s. 2 would be the year of that decade. A would indicate the passenger...

    JME makes a replacement gauge setup. kinda spendy and I dont have any experience with them but, it is advertised as plug and play.

    electrics are just as accurate plus you dont have an oil line run into the inside of your car (a big disaster waiting to happen).

    98 coupe springs in a 91 vert

    I have a set of stock springs from my old 98 GT and I was thinking of replacing whatever crap is in my 91 vert now. Does any one know factory ride hight of LX verts? mine sits at 27" at the top of the wheel opening in the front and 27 1/2" in back. I dont know if the car is lowered or not...

    keep the electric gauges just get the sender. I have all electric autometers in my old ladies car, much easier to hook up.

    lowering srings

    back in high school I had a fourpopper vert that had stock rear springs and progressive suspension front lowering springs. Sat nice and level and rode pretty good.
