    check the grounds, most weird electrical problems can be caused by bad grounds.

    nothin serious, just somthin to throw money at and wrench on. Just a heavy convertible with an automatic. might do a trickflow or an edelbrock topend kit someday. Just waking it up right now.

    what was your first experience with a 5.0 Mustang?

    When I was in high school I had a 91 4 banger convertible, somehow I managed to total it and got a 98 4.6 gt. about 6 years later I traded it in for a truck. Couple weeks ago I got my hands on a 91 5.0 LX convertible and now the fun begins all over again.:nice:

    I think I need a new alternator...

    A cheep test that may work is to get crazy with grounds. Put ground wires everywhere, body to motor, body to frame, frame to motor, etc. Most electrical problems I run into are ground issues.

    odd speedo problem

    I am wondering if this would be a gauge problem or not. My speedo reads way high and jumps around but the odometer and tripmeter work just fine (checked it with my gps). This sound like a magnet problem in the gauge?
